19:35 - The Good Place - Creator Teases Season 2
Thanks to A for the heads up. This is just a small piece of the article here, EW has 4 pages worth of info, please click the link for more.

Will season 2 follow similar adventures as season 1’s, but with new participants as the quartet tries to find their way back to one another?

I’ll only say that the starting point — well, you saw the starting point, basically. The very end of the finale, she woke up, she was in a similar looking office, there were small changes to the neighborhood. The premiere will show where everybody is starting from, at the very least, but I don’t want to say too much about the future of the season beyond that.

Will Todd the lava monster come back?

We have no actual plans to bring him back, but I’ll tell you this: This is all stuff I’ve learned in this last year, because I’ve never worked on a show like this before, but in terms of visual effects, the largest expense is the original design, right? Once you have the design, now it’s in the computer and it’s a lot cheaper and easier to bring it back and do more fun things with it. Let me put it this way: I don’t know how long this show is going to be on the air, I hope it’s a long time, but if you think that I’m not going to take, at some point, a lava monster named Todd Hemple, who has Joe Mande’s voice, and bring him back in the show for some reason, at some point, you don’t know me at all. "Period Sex" is on the CD and the video finally came out. Did The CW not let that air in full or was it always supposed to be an online thing?

We assumed they wouldn't let it air. I sent it to Patricia who's the head of the [standards and practices] and said, "Here's a song, there's no way we could put this on the air." There was a version in which maybe as a tag for an episode and it's just a really, really long tag. And she was like, "…No."
It's always hard with the FCC stuff because the FCC prohibits vulgar or graphic language and basically it's up to standards and practices to interpret what that means. I mean, I think the "cherry lube" line is probably what took it over the edge. Technically we don't say the words, vagina, clitoris, pussy—there's actually no technically bad words in it, but it's, um, yeah. [Laughs.] I just did press for the show in Paris and the journalists' questions were about the song "Sexy French Depression" and "Period Sex."

00:15 - Sense8 - Netflix Reassembling Cast After Options Had Expired
Thanks to 90sbaby for the heads up.

EXCLUSIVE: Season 2 of Netflix’s sci-fi drama series Sense8, from Lana and Lilly Wachowski and J. Michael Straczynski, is set to debut May 5. It comes almost two years after the first season premiered on June 5, 2015, a year and nine months after the series was renewed for a second season, and eight months after the second season wrapped its marathon filming in more than a dozen locations across four continents.

As Season 2 episodes are being edited, I hear Netflix recently reached out to the core cast with offers for new contracts to make them available for a potential third season. I hear about half of the eight leads have closed deals, and the rest are in negotiations. Insiders are optimistic all would come back. I hear that under the new pacts, which include Season 3 provisions, the cast would be on hold until June, so Netflix will likely make a renewal decision by then. Given the trouble the Internet network is going through to secure the cast, it is logical to assume that Netflix is probably high on a potential third season.

MORE4 ACQUIRES THE EXCLUSIVE U.K. RIGHTS TO “THE GOOD FIGHT” FROM CBS STUDIOS INTERNATIONAL

“The Good Wife” Sequel Picks up a Year on from the Events of the Finale and Stars Christine Baranski alongside Cush Jumbo and Rose Leslie

LONDON and AMSTERDAM – March 1, 2017 – More4, the British digital television channel owned by Channel 4, has acquired from CBS Studios International the exclusive U.K. broadcast rights to the CBS All Access original series, THE GOOD FIGHT. The series is set to premiere on More4 in the spring.

From “The Good Wife” creators Robert and Michelle King, THE GOOD FIGHT picks up one year after the events of the final broadcast episode of “The Good Wife.” An enormous financial scam has destroyed the reputation of a young lawyer, Maia (Rose Leslie, “Game of Thrones”), while simultaneously wiping out her mentor Diane Lockhart’s (Christine Baranski, “The Good Wife”) savings. Forced out of Lockhart & Lee, they join Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo, “The Good Wife”) at one of Chicago’s pre-eminent law firms.

“This is the first original series from our digital subscription video on-demand and live streaming service, CBS All Access, a platform that provides us with yet another opportunity to license our world-class, premium programming to the international marketplace,” said Stephen Tague, SVP Europe, CBS Studios International. “‘The Good Wife’ has been a ratings success for More4, so we are pleased for loyal fans of the series that the spin-off has found its U.K. home here.”

Robert and Michelle King serve as showrunners and executive producers of THE GOOD FIGHT. Phil Alden Robinson co-wrote and executive produced the premiere episode with the Kings. Ridley Scott, David Zucker, Liz Glotzer, Brooke Kennedy and Alison Cross also serve as executive producers. Kennedy directed the premiere episode. 03:40 - Disney XD Airs Its First Same Sex Kiss

2016 was the best year for LGBTQ representation on television yet, and if Disney XD's recent move is any indication, 2017 is set to be a pretty inclusive one as well.

In a recent episode of Disney XD's Star vs. the Forces of Evil, Mashable points out there were numerous same-sex kisses. The multiple makeout sessions marked the first time Disney has ever shown same-sex cartoon characters kissing, making history for the channel.

In "Just Friends," Season 2, episode 39, of the show, the main characters go to a concert where a boy band is crooning on stage. The tunes are so seductive, the boy band woos everyone in the crowd, making the atmosphere so romantic everyone just had to kiss - as boy bands are wont to do. In the crowd, a bunch of different kissing couples are shown, including a few same-sex couples.
