Breakthrough band Kodaline have announced their next single ‘One Day’, due to be released next month.
‘One Day’ comes from the Dublin-based group’s certified Gold album ‘In A Perfect World’ that’s managed to sell over 135,000 copies in the UK alone and is due to be available February 17th.
The success of the album led the band to a hectic 2013 with gigs and festivals across Europe including T in the Park and Reading festival. But the touring did not stop there as the band embarked on a tour across the pond in the US, performing in places such as LA and New York.
Their hard work saw them nominated for the Best Song Discovery and Best Artist Discovery in the Spectrum Best Of 2013 Awards enabling them to further establish themselves in the music world. Finishing 2013 with more performances in Europe, resulting in them getting nominated for the European Border Breakers Award 2014 – and winning!
2014 could not have gotten off to a better start for Kodaline, and with a confirmed UK tour staring in March, it’s an exciting year already for the group whose fan base is on the increase every single day. Love for their fans is evident as the guys created a video for them that documented the most momentous parts of 2013.
Beautiful music and humbled musicians make Kodaline a flawless band, and the new single due next month is no different.
