Talking on the same, Associate Producer of the movie, Mitesh Patel said, “We wanted a director who could make the best of 4D. Then when I saw the second trailer of Kamasutra 3D, in seconds I could decide that Rupesh is the final choice for the direction. The trailer proved how one can portray the international standards even after shooting in India. I am sure he will do complete justice with the screenplay of NaMo and make it look grand for the 4D debut in India”.

The actors to portray the adolescent and veteran stages of NaMo would be announced by the week next.

Tanaaz Irani joins the cast of Bh Se Bhade!

Playing a typical Guajarati house-wife, Tanaaz returns to the small screen after a long hiatus…

Zee TV and Hats Off Productions’ Bh Se Bhade is on a roll with various new characters becoming a part of the show week after week. Entering the show from February 1st, Tanaaz Irani will be seen as a typical gujarati house wife, Mridula. Playing a kleptomaniac in the show, Mridula has a habit of stealing things and utilizing them for her own good. A little on the crude side, she is quite the opposite of her sister-in-law – Sushma Bhade, played by Sucheta Trivedi.

Shuttling between Dubai and Mumbai to manage her business, and previously seen on a few reality shows, Tanaaz is back to doing what she does best – comedy! Having a steady career in Bollywood and having acted in various fiction shows, Tanaaz has been missing from the scene for quite long. Making a comeback with Bh Se Bhade, Tanaaz said, “I am glad to be back and have a platform like Hats Off and Zee TV. I had been away from television for a few years now since my kid was too young but now that she is all grown up, I am sure I will be able to manage this. I watched a few episodes of Bh Se Bhade and I am sure very soon my character will become a household name.” Happy on having Tanaaz join the cast, producer JD Majethia said, “She is known for her brilliant comic timing. We wanted a feisty woman to play the role of Mridula, who is exactly opposite of the meek and demure, Sushma (Sucheta Trivedi). As soon as we had etched this character, I knew I wanted Tanaaz to play it. Her versatility is what works for a show like ours. We’re glad she decided to come out of her shell and accept the role.”

Giving it all it takes, Tanaaz learnt to ride an auto rickshaw for her very first sequence. Despite a few quick lessons, during the first take when she took the driver’s seat, little did she realize that the rickshaw driver had left the drive in ‘reverse’ and so off went the rickshaw shooting away in the reverse direction! Not giving in to the temptation of a having a duplicate shoot the sequence instead of her, she bucked up and in the second take itself managed to get it right and was shooting with full gusto, later even chasing after a BEST bus!

Do not miss Bh Se Bhade, every Saturday and Sunday at 8 PM, Only on ZEE TV!

GODREJ PROPERTIES GOLF CHALLENGE SET FOR BIGGEST EDITION YET

Tees off on 25th January

Simultaneous rounds Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Chennai, Kolkata and Bangalore

MUMBAI, January 24th, 2014: The annual Godrej Properties Intra Club Golf Challenge is back with its third edition and this year’s event is set to be the biggest one yet.

Buoyed by the success of last season’s event which involved 800-odd amateur golfers from four of the leading golf clubs in the country, promoters Godrej Properties have opted to raise the tournament’s profile even further.

This year’s event will witness seven city rounds, including stop overs at four new locations, and an increase in the total number of participating golfers to an approximate 1000. And like in 2013, the event will once again culminate in an International Finals showdown in Bangkok where the respective winners from each city will battle it out.

The action tees off on 25th January with simultaneous rounds at the Willingdon Sports Club in Mumbai and at the Qutub Golf Course in Delhi, the first of the new venues added to this year’s itinerary. The Classic Golf Resort in Gurgaon stages round three on 1st February followed by another double header on 9th February at Madras Gymkhana Club in Chennai and Royal Calcutta Golf Club, Kolkata which replaces the Tollygunge Golf Club from the 2013 list of hosts. Noida Golf Course, the third addition to this year’s event, takes centre stage on 14th February with the club rounds winding up in Bangalore on 21st February at Bangalore Golf Club which takes the place of Karnataka Golf Association this time.

“The results of expanding the Godrej Properties Golf Challenge from a one city event to a four city event last year were there for all to see,” said Girish Shah, Executive Vice President of Godrej Properties. “We were obviously encouraged by those results and felt there was scope for further improvisation this year. Having new clubs enter the fray makes the competition that much more exciting.”

The tournament will again follow the Stableford Points System across two handicap categories: 0-12 & 13-24 (3/4 Nett Stableford Points). Any member of a participating club can play in the tournament provided they have a valid handicap from that club. The top player in each handicap category from each of the seven clubs will then earn a chance to compete in the International Finals scheduled to take place from 26th to 28th February in Bangkok.

Professional Management Group will be the event managers and will be responsible for the entire functioning of the tournament.

Ranveer Singh’s mother called the director of Gunday, Ali Abbas Zafar, out of concern to not have any shirtless scenes with her son post the series of negative effects it was having on the actor.

Every time Ranveer Singh went shirtless in front of the camera, the actor has got an injury.

Looks like, off late, there has been some black magic done on Ranveer Singh. The first time on the sets of Gunday, while shooting the first song, when Ranveer Singh did a shirtless scene, he had his head bumped into a dancer which caused a gash on his cheek. The actor had to take 11 stitches for it, the mark for which stays with him lifetime.

In the next instance, when he had to do a shirtless scene in the mud pit, a glass cut into his leg and he got 9 stitches. For shooting the rest of the film, the actor required help to take care of his leg.

In his next attempt, while shooting the bare body mud wrestling scene, Ranveer singh got some kind of skin allergy.

It all started when his shirtless look in Ram Leela was released. They were in Durgapur and he got bitten by the mosquito and got dengue.

Seems like Ranveer Singh’s bare body was too hot to handle on the sets of Gunday, which is slated to release on 14th February 2014.
