Sonakshi Sinha’s impromptu idea for R…Rajkumar’s Dhoka Dhadi
Shooting for Dhoka Dhadi at Khai Island in Phuket ,turned out to be quite a challenge for the cast and crew of Eros International and NextGen Films’ R…Rajkumar.
A sudden change in weather , led to everyone having to face scorching temperatures – However Sonakshi Sinha in an impromptu moment ,got into the ocean suggesting to choreographer Bosco that they shoot the scene in the water. And though everyone had their reservations initially , Sonakshi insisted that it would make for a great shot , convincing director Prabhu Dheva and Bosco and even co-star Shahid Kapoor.
Says Sonakshi Sinha, ” The thought of sun sand and sea really charged me up at first while shooting at the beach but as we started shooting, there it was scorching. Trying to look pretty in a saree in that kind of heat is no easy task so when I couldn’t take it anymore, I just jumped into the water to cool off and asked Bosco to shoot us in there!” .

Mumbai : November 19th, 2013: ABAI Fest 2013 is staging India’s 1st exclusive film and digital arts festival for Animation, VFX & Gaming in Mysore (Manasa Gangotri, University of Mysore) on 6th and 7th of December 2013 through the day.
This festival will present a “buffet” of the best feature films; short films; game cinematics’ and visual effects highlights that have ever been screened in one location.
ABAI Fest 2013 is aimed at professionals and aficionados of cinema and TV, computer games developers to give them and the audience a taste of what it is to be part of this revolutionary new world of digital content creation.
Mr. Biren Ghose, President, ABAI and Country Head, Technicolor India said “Never before has such a plethora of outstanding films across different techniques, genres and platforms been presented in one location in Asia. The program includes two outstanding international presentations by stalwarts:
Ron Diamond will present ‘The Giants’ first steps and the ‘ABAI special edition’ of “show of shows” [now in its 15th year] where world leaders trace their journeys. This will be an inspiration to young aspirants. Ron is a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures.
Shelley Page of DreamWorks Animation will be presenting her ‘Eye Candy Show’ which has travelled across the world. Shelley leverages her position as a celebrated jury member for schools in two continents and curates the best showcase annually. Being an artist herself she has worked with the legendary Richard Williams and then at DreamWorks. She was an artist on the famous Who Framed Roger Rabbit as well as the Shrek, Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda movies.
The ABAI festival is supported by the Government of Karnataka to propagate AVGC initiatives in the State. Mr. Srivatsa Krishna, Secretary, Department of IT, BT and S&T and e-governance, Government of Karnataka said “Karnataka aspires to become the ‘number one’ hub in Asia for digital content creation, storage and distribution. Our state policy for Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics and the recent i4 (I to the power 4) policy is acting as a magnate for world leaders to establish their businesses in the state. There is no reason why a Paramount or a Disney or a Universal Studios or a Yash Raj or Rajkamalstudios should not be doing their entire VFX and other digital work out of Karnataka, he added.”

While talking there Udai singh promises Surtan singh that he will help him to catch Sakhaveer.. Pratap gets tensed. Indian Choreographer Rajeev`s first Hollywood movie with Richard Gere
Rajeev Khinchi, a world renowned performer and choreographer is working on a Hollywood venture. The movie features Richard Gere and he will be seen instructing him.
According to reports, the acclaimed performer has several years of experience to his credit. He has also been awarded with many prestigious awards, such as the Rajiv Gandhi National Achiever`s Award and Dadasaheb Phalke Acknowledged Artist Award to name a few. There`s another feather to his collection now, he will be instructing Richard Gere. The Pretty Woman star, managed to attract many eye balls the last time he was here. His controversial Kiss ka kissa with Shilpa Shetty is still fresh. The famous star will be following Rajiv`s orders in his forth coming movie, The Temple Of The Lost. The movie goes on floor the next year.
Gere will be seen shooting in India for the same. The movie is said to be filmed in Buddhist dominated Leh in Jammu and Kashmir, as their request to shoot in China dominated Tibet was turned down. The ambiance of the location was required for the authenticity of the movie. And hence they finalized India as their main location.
Rajiv started dancing when he was seven years old, and began his professional career with acclaimed choreographer Farah Khan in the movie Duplicate, featuring Shah Rukh Khan. Since then, he has worked on numerous Bollywood movies with some of the biggest names in Bollywood.
