Blackberrys launches their Fall Winter Collection 2013
Blackberrys Menswear recently announced the launch of its Fall Winter ’13 collection. The brand brings forth a collection that will bring an element of fun and color to the staple winter wardrobe.Inspired from the “gentleman”, who has adopted color, patterns and accessories in a big way, and turned livelier and bolder.
The Blackberrys Fall Winter collection, in keeping with the current menswear trend is a combination of the gentleman and the flamboyant artist style. Sandeep Khapra, Head- Design, Blackberrys further elaborates, “The various elements of this style statement are the tweed blazers, flannels pants, waistcoats, neck ties and bow ties in wool, suspenders, and the moustache. It is a very British look, so sense of humor and wit automatically finds its place in the dressing. Combining unexpected essentials, colors or patterns brings about the sense of humor and then there are vintage motif prints, polka dot prints which add to the story telling. These combinations are out of the box and unconventional.”Blackberrys FW 2013 offers aninteresting collection oftweed blazers, flannels pants, waistcoats, knits, cardigans, dress line trousers, shirts to neck ties and bow ties in wool. Each piece in the collection has been detailed to allow for layering while creating a sharp look. Careful detailing has been added to shirts therefore creating well tailored pieces in varied prints, checks, plaid, stripes and an unconventional color palette.
The trousers have been designed to break the monotony of a black and grey dominated wardrobe. The dress line trousers will add a hint of color in mild shades to create a rather evolved fall look for men. The collection also has a line of washed dress line trousers for a more relaxed, club wear feel.
The collection is dominated by sweaters, knits and cardigans. Staying at par with global trends this season, the Fall Winter 2013 collection at Blackberrys allows for sharp edged layering be it vintage inspired or the more modern take on wearing prints on prints.
A range of sharp suits for all occasions also forms a part of the collection. Adding to its existing range of accessories like bow ties, ties, cuff links, belts and pocket squares, the brand launches men’s socks and kerchiefs in staples whites as well as vivid hues thereby completing the wardrobe for the Indian Male audience. The variety in range allows an average customer to combine and create the Neo Gentleman look.

In Conversation with Hemant Pandey for his upcoming film ‘Rajula’
Hemant Pandey has played the character of ‘Puran Mama’ in an upcoming film ‘Rajula’ which is based on the famous folk tale of Uttarakhand, Rajula-Malushahi and the film is releasing under PVR Director’s rare cut on 18th October, 2013.
Hailing from the theater background, Hemant Pandey, has proved his talent in the field of acting. The veteran actor, known for his famous role of Pandeyji in TV series ‘Office Office, has also worked in big banner films like Krrish, Ready, Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, etc. The most recent film in which he acted is ‘2 Nights in Soul Valley’ which was released in 2012. Hemant is known for playing comedy character role but here he played a negative character.
Let’s have a one and one with the actor in an exclusive interview:
1. First thing first tell us something more about your character ‘Puran Mama’ in an upcoming film ‘Rajula’…
As you know I belong to Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand and when Manoj Chandola came to me with the concept I instantly said, yes. From childhood we grew up hearing the 700 years old folk tale Rajula-Malushahi and I was getting the chance to be part of such an epic so I nodded in positive. The writer and director Nitin Tewari, has given a modern treatment to the story keeping the core of the story intact and my character has an important contribution to the film. This will be revealed when you what the film (smiles).
2. You are well established in Hindi film industry then why you choose to do a regional film like Rajula now…
I like to differ here…Rajula is story of Uttarakhand but this film has compared that era with the modern scenario and showed the struggle of a women in our society brilliantly. And such a film in my opinion shouldn’t be only considered as regional film. Plus we have dialogues in regional language, hindi and English with subtitles.
Now why I choose this film; one reason being this film has originated from Uttarakhand and I belong to this place so automatically your inner soul instigates you to say – yes.
3. How was the total experience of doing this film?
The USP of the film is its narration. The film has shaped brilliantly and gives the true picture of the ‘Land of Gods.’ The shooting of the film was an adventure in itself. The cast and crew where extremely good to work. Karan and Ashima has pulled their character well and they were able to do just to such an epic love story. Uttarakhand is known for its natural beauty and the breath taking sights around the Himalayas, the Bhabhar and the Terai were a life time experience to be shooting around there.
4. Tell us something about your upcoming projects…
Currently my film ‘Prakash Electronics’ is in post production phase and there are few other projects but it’s too earlier to say anything.

SRK is currently on tour with Limelight Entertainment’s Temptation Reloaded show and arrived in New Zealand on Thursday October 3.
He was last night given a traditional Maori welcome and presented with an official New Zealand Black Caps cricket shirt in recognition of his love of the game, and New Zealand’s co-hosting rights to the Cricket World Cup 2015.

Kangana Ranaut sports her Queen outfit during the dubbing of the film.
National award winning actress Kangana Ranaut who has always walked away with rave reviews for her performances , is a perfectionist at her craft and quite recently took her Queen director Vikas Bahl by surprise as she stepped out of the dub ,only to return in the film’s outfit ,to better get under the skin of her character.
The actress who shot for the film earlier this year, got into her other professional commitments and to maintain the essence of her character ,thought it best to don a similar outfit she sported in the film.
Says director Vikas Bahl, “Kangana has shot for the film a long time ago and was busy with other films. During the dubbing, she realised that she couldn’t get into the skin of her character. So, to get the feel, she went back home to dress up the way she did while shooting for the film”.
