Turner and FilmKraft to bring Kid Krrish to Cartoon Network

“John is a big actor. It takes courage to portray something as offbeat as his character in the film. Bitta, the President of the ATF was all praise for the actor. “Abraham has made a courageous attempt to unravel the conspiracy behind the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi,” he said. The film “Madras Cafe” recalls the series of events in the 80s and early 1990s woven around the Sri Lankan civil war and the subsequent assassination of then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

John Abraham said he was exploring making a movie on Havaldar Abdul Hamid, who was awarded the Param Vir Chakra posthumously following the 1965 Indo-Pak war. “Abdul Hamid made the supreme sacrifice during the war. His story is awe-inspiring. I will definitely try to make a movie on his life,” Abraham said during the function that was titled ‘Zara Yaad Karo Qurbani’.Bitta added that there remains scope for an “unbiased enquiry to expose the conspiracy” which resulted in the death of Rajiv Gandhi.

The event also saw Hamid’s 92-year-old wife Rasoolan Bibi being handed the Veer Bravery Award awarded to her husband. Bravery awards were also given to four BSF men who lost their lives in a Naxal attack in Odisha, to five army personnel, who died in an ambushed in Pooch sector of Jammu and Kashmir, and to two army soldiers beheaded by Pakistani troops this year in January.

Komal Malhotra from Delhi, who fought bravely against chain snatchers despite a bullet injury, was also honored with an award by John Abraham.

The walk starts with letting off balloons with 7 Human Values / custom peace messages on them from Aarey Dairy (Worli) which will march towards Worli sealink. 400 Rotaractors and NSS volunteers will participate in the walk to promote 7 human values.

A Peace Walk is a symbolic representation of peace. Through symbols, and orchestration, the Peace Walk aims to imbibe the 7 human values of inner peace – gratitude, forgiveness, love, humility, giving, patience, and truth. A Peace Walk will inspire these qualities in both the Peace Walkers as well as the onlookers.

From the start to the end, the walk will have the 7 Human Values illustrated in the form of skits/dance/acts. There will be flash mobs and orchestration in the walk. It was a dream come true for actor Shahid Kapoor as he got once in a lifetime opportunity to teach the superstar of bollywood Amitabh Bachchan a few dance steps of his own.

Shahid Kapoor along with Ileana D’cruz made an appearance on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati to promote their upcoming flick ‘Phata poster Nikla Hero’. As soon as he entered Shahid mouthed the famous dialogue ‘Arey e pyaaz ke chilko’ from his upcoming movie. Shahid then requested Mr. Bachchan to say any one of his famous dialogue. SYNOPSIS:

This episode is the first of two-episode chronicle of the recent `much in debate’ Delhi Gangrape case in Delhi.

The shameful and damning incident occurred on the fateful night of 16th of December 2012 when the victim Suhasi (23) boarded a private bus (that otherwise ferries school children) on her way home to Munirka along with her boyfriend nilesh, unaware that six drunkards, perverts were waiting for a prey inside.

These men including the driver Mohan Singh, his brother Manoj Singh, their friends, Ravi Kaushik, Hansraj Malik, Govind Singh and Chhotu first began to pass lewd remarks at the sole passenger couple Suhasi and nilesh the moment the bus left Munirka. nilesh reacted as expected and this gave the men a chance to get physical with nilesh and soon they beat and bundled him up at one corner of the bus and and pounced on Suhasi like savages.

All this was happening in the moving bus with tinted fglass and its curtains closed and lights off and a defiant Suhasi resisting the brutes as long as she could. Enraged with her resistance the six men take out their vengeance on her. They first took turns to rape her and then beat and shoved her with iron rods. in the most unthinkable, unimaginable, indescribable manner.

The six men after having satiated their savage thirst threw off nilesh and Suhasi near the Mahipalpur flyover and drive off. At 11.30 pm, 2 hours after they boarded the bus, badly injured Suhasi and nilesh were spotted by two passersby, who informed the nearest PCR Van, who eventually sent them to the Safdarjung Hospital.

The Vasant Vihar police in the meanwhile set off to find the assailants and the bus on the basis of the description given by nilesh. The investigating police also gathered information from a carpenter Rakesh Dhawan who was assaulted and looted by those six men who later raped Suhasi in the same.

Little did the police realize at that time that they were dealing with an incident that was going to snowball into a modern day revolution that will force both the government and society to realize enough is enough?

SYNOPSIS:

This episode is the second and conclusive episode of two-episode chronicle of the recent `much in debate’ Delhi Gangrape case in Delhi.

The victim Suhasi (23) was raped and assaulted by the six men in a moving bus and little did the police realize that they were dealing with an incident that was going to snowball into a modern day revolution that will force both the government and society to realize enougt is enough.. ..

Ever since the admission in the hospital Suhasi’s condition was deteriorating with every passing minute but she was conscious and providing details as to what happened to her amidst multiple operations being performed on her.

In the meanwhile the bus driver and one of the main culprits Mohan Singh was arrested and other members of his gang were to follow suit soon. But the most important development was that the anger among youth of India, as the news of this ghastly crime was slowly spreading all over, was silently but decisively brewing.

The plight of Suhasi had touched every heart as if the gore of the crime roused anger inside everyone. Sensing the pulse of the people, political leaders began rushing to the hospital to offer their token of concern and a promise of justice. But this time the anger of the people was beyond the imagination of any politician. Without any prejudiced thoughts or any political agenda the youth of the country was just not ready to tolerate no more apathy and indifference from the establishment. Their anger soon galvanized into an full-blown impromptu movement undeterred of police barricades, teargas shells, water canon or police lathi-charge

By the evening of 21st December, 2012, four days after the ghastly crime, all the six culprits were in police custody but the flip side was that the innocent victim Suhasi was losing the battling for her life. She had suffered a cardiac arrest and was on life support. Her deteriorating condition couple with the pressure mounted by protestors, forced the Government to airlift her to a Hospital in Singapore for specialized treatment but she couldn’t sustained her brave battle and died on December 29, 13 days after the assault.

The movement that began with the plight of Suhasi is still on even after her death and her sacrifice is expected to bring a watershed change in our approach to safeguard our sisters against crimes as heinous as rape and stringent punishment possibly a death penalty to those who bring humanity to shame.

While the industry has dime a dozen tales of co-actors who do not get along with each other, here’s one Jai-Veeru Jodi who just don’t seem to get bored of each other! We are talking about Arhaan Behl and Vikas Sethi of Zee TV’s recently launched show Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se.

Arhan Behl (Raghu) and Vikas Sethi (Jaswant Rana) apparently have a blast in each other’s company. From cracking jokes in Punjabi to reading their scripts together, these two seem to have a blast shooting together. Ironically, the two do not share a cordial relationship onscreen, but their character differences do not reflect in their off-screen relationship at all.

When we contacted Vikram, he said, “Since Arhaan and I both are Punjabis, we feel at ease in each other’s company. Because of our common background we are both comfortable practicing and rehearsing for our dialogues and reading our scripts together in Punjabi. We share a common taste in food and films as well. The typical practice of two Punjabi boys addressing each other as Veere or Bhai exists between us as well. He is a very good friend of mine and I really miss his presence on the sets whenever he is not shooting.”

Apart from these two, apparently the entire team is always seen having fun together on the sets. Confirms Vikas, “We have a WhatsApp group called DDBEDS (Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se), where throughout the day we keep pulling each other’s legs and have a blast even if we are not shooting! And I must tell you, Alok ji (Aloki Nath) has the best sense of humor amongst all.”

We’ve seen many such hit pairs kicking off as the show begins, but slowly, as they start maturing into individual characters on the show, they begin to have differences and end up falling apart. Well, all we can say now is “Iss Jodi ko kisi ki nazar na lag jaaye”.

A simple click of the S Pen button while hovering over the screen introduces users to Air Command, a palette of five powerful features that truly make tasks easier and faster. With the Air Command feature, there is no need to toggle between screens, memorize commands or look up different menus. The Air Command feature provides access to the following key functions:

• Action Memo allows users to handwrite a note, and automatically execute a function or convert that handwritten information into formatted content. Action Memo can instantly initiate a call, add to contacts, look up an address on a map, search the web, save a task to a to-do list, and more.

• Scrapbook enables users to organize or track down content and information from various sources including the web, YouTube and Gallery in one place so that users can easily look back at collected content all at once. When consumers save content for future use, Scrapbook also collects source material or URLs allowing them to easily refer back to the original source.

• The Screen Write feature captures the full screen image of the current page on the device and allows users to write comments or additional information onto the captured image.

• S Finder allows users to expansively search for content on their device regardless of the type. By putting in keywords or filters such as date, location, and content type, users can search related documents, events, communication threads, and even the Help page – all in one place. In addition, users can also search for hand-written content in their Notes and memo applications, as well as symbols and formulas.

• Pen Window allows users to use the S Pen not only for drawing sketches or writing notes, but now also for opening a small application window for a true multitasking experience. Simply by drawing a window of any size, anywhere on the screen, users can easily and quickly open another application window such as YouTube, calculator or Browser without pausing current activity on the screen.

For more advanced note-taking, the new S Note presents a comprehensive solution that enables consumers to easily write, organize, edit and browse notes with a user-friendly interface and the Easy Chart feature. The new S Note can also be synced with Evernote or a Samsung account and be enabled for accessing and viewing from different devices. Furthermore, when a user wants only a certain part of an image to be taken from the web or Note 3 content, the advanced new Easy Clip feature allows them to roughly draw around the desired image and then it converts that content into a more precisely cropped image.
