Hrithik Roshan flew from the US to Hyderabad, to launch the first Bollywood motion poster of his Diwali release, Krrish-3, on a popular social networking platform Facebook.. though he is jet lagged, it is hard for the superstar to contain the excitement in his voice. “I’m honoured,” he says, adding, “It was the birthday of this mammoth social networking platform and they chose to celebrate this momentous occasion with the launch of our poster.”

Its Ekta’s time to say goodbye to Jhalak!
The charming beauty, Ekta Kaul, who won several hearts with her innocence and grace, bid adieu to India’s biggest celebrity dance reality show – Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa on COLORS, this weekend. The actor who had also suffered a shoulder injury found herself in the bottom two alongside Aarti Chabbaria.
The shy Ekta Kaul had a rocky beginning in the show but with her undeterred determination and hard work, she went on to surprising the jury and audiences with her touching performances week after week. She had managed to win everybody’s hearts including some very motivational comments from the judges as well. The judges not just appreciated her determination to learn dance on the show, but also lauded her effort to experiment with diverse dance forms, in-spite of her being a non-dancer.
Ekta and her choreographer Tushar had a wonderful journey since the beginning of the show. They started on a subdued note but went on to raising the bar with commendable performance with each passing week. Their act on wheels and the fusion act were the ones most loved and appreciated by the audiences as well as the jury.
The vote out this weekend was a tough decision for the jury with two of the most hard-working contestants with severe injuries in the bottom two. Reluctantly and with a heavy heart the jury members took a tough call basis both their performances which were showcased beautifully despite their injuries, Ekta was then voted out.
On her elimination, Ekta Kaul said, “This was the first time I have ever tried dancing in my life and that too on a national platform like Jhalak. I am disappointed to be eliminated at this stage after five weeks but it has been the best learning experience of my life and I am taking back a lot with me”.

Tusshar Kapoor stayed at a rented apartment in Chandni Chowk to prepare for his role in Bajatey Raho
Leaving behind the luxuries of a hotel room,actor Tusshar Kapoor chose to get under the skin of his character for Bajatey Raho and opted to stay in a leased apartment in the bylanes of Delhi’s Chandni Chowk.
Playing a typical Punjabi boy from the capital city,Tusshar insisted on staying at the same house the film was to be shot in, to study the locals and gauge the finer nuances of his character.
Says Tusshar Kapoor, “I’ve put a lot of effort into the film ,right from living in Chandni Chowk in a rented apartment to studying the local people and their mannerisms and language ….I hope the effort comes through in my performance”.

And now Bollywood hot actress Veena Malik has joined the list of Bollywood actresses who injured herself by giving their best and now Bollywood hot actress Veena Malik has just proved her dedication towards work for her upcoming Kannada movie “Silk Sakkath Maga” in Thailand. Veena, while shooting for the song tore her toe nail and it started bleeding profusely. The doctor was called on sets immediately and Veena’s foot was bandaged. Filming in Thailand has been halted for several hours to allow Veena to recover. It’s a known fact she gives her heart and soul while filming a movie.
Veena Malik said, “Being injured is not a new thing for me but this one was little bit tough for me because the song needs a romantic feeling and getting injured while filming the song it was really painful and difficult. Thailand is a very beautiful place I love it.”
It seems that Malik is leaving no stone unturned to make sure her movie rings the bell at the box office. Veena is also preparing herself for her upcoming Bollywood “The City That Never Sleeps” which is produced by Satish Reddy.

“Ishraq is very short tempered.” says every cast and crew member he has worked with. He will go on with the same scene until he is satisfied even if the actor has no energy left! Ishraq is the director of the upcoming film ‘Ek Bura Aadmi’.
Even Riya Sen had to face the music. Initially she was to perform an item song in the film ‘Ek Bura Aadmi’ but then Ishraq replaced her with some other actor because of some friction. On asking Ishraq, he says, “It’s not that I get angry all the time. I am in good terms with all my cast and crew. And about Riya Sen, she was not cooperating with the crew of the film and because of her, a whole day was wasted. This story is old now, let’s keep it there only. I want my actors to be dedicated to the film as I am. Only then we together would be able to create a master piece. I take my work very seriously and because of that I get angry sometimes.”

Mumbai, July 2013: A tiny seed of hope which was carefully planted a long time back, has now bloomed into something significant and nurturing after 50 years of memories. HVB Academy, the ICSE affiliated multi- cultural school; organized an event on July 1 2013 at the Birla Matoshree Sabhagriha, located at New Marine Lines to celebrate its Golden Jubilee.
The celebration commenced with the screening of the film ‘I Am Kalam’, after which the real star of the movie made his entrance. Honorable Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam inaugurated the session; subsequently he recited an inspirational speech which was met with awe stuck expressions on the kid’s faces in his presence and a resounding applause. Mr. Kalam later interacted with the students, uplifting their spirits and motivating them to be responsible citizens of tomorrow.
To celebrate the 50 years of imparting value education, students from the IX to the XII standard were present along with underprivileged children from the NGO’s associated with Project Ujjwal Bhavishya were in attendance. Ujjwal Bhavishya is a unique project of the HVB Academy to adopt underprivileged children to take care of their educational needs up till the Higher Secondary level, consequently giving them suitable job placements.
Commenting on the occasion, Dr. (Ms.) C. R. Pathak, the principal of HVB Academy said,” Completing the milestone of 50 years, we have sincerely aspired to make sure that others share our jubilation. We would like to thank Mr. Kalam for gracing us with his presence and inspiring the students.
