Mahesh Bhatt makes a special appearance at YA RAB screening
Mumbai, 4th November, 2013: The shooting of producer Mohsin Ali Khan and director Hasnain Hyderabadwala’s Ya Rab is complete and ready to release. The film is co-produced by Rohit Kumar, the film features Vikram Singh in the lead. The film deals with the Muslim community and revolves around the facts of Quran. The director of the film is known for doing commercial cinema like ‘The Train’ and ‘The Killer’, he has now taken a bold turn with a film on religious view points from Islam. The subject considered is too hot to touch, considering the fragile sensibilities associated with the subject it’s very imperative that the high officials of Islamic community should review before its commercial release.
The team of Ya Rab has organized a special screening at light box for their respected Maulanas; the objective of the screening was to make sure the movie content is apt and doesn’t defames the Islamic commandments. The Director and producer also shared that it was Mahesh Bhatt who encouraged them to take up this subject. The road to the movie was not easy as the script required to maintain a balance between different ideologies, trying to offend none but still drive the point home. Working on a feasible script was the most difficult part for Ya Rab as the film attempts to defy the fundamental elements of the society. Hence after its completion the team is previewing the film to have their take on it before releasing it. Their only aim is to correct those who misinterpret the Quran and its teachings.
Mahsh Bhatt also made his presance felt and had a group discussion with the team and media. The film is shot in Lucknow, it is packed with some powerful performances by Manzar Sahbai of Bol fame and versatile actor, Akhilendra Mishra. Action:Abbas Ali Mughal. ‘R…Rajkumar’ gives India its first custom comic
Eros International and NextGen Films’ R…Rajkumar in a creative marketing stratergy gave its fans a chance to feature alongside Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha in India’s first custom comic, something that has never been attempted or done this far. The contest, which began on 25th October on Facebook, invited its fans to submit their ‘faadu’ story ideas. Of these, three winners would soon be featured in a special digital comic.
Starring Sonakshi Sinha and Shahid Kapoor, the movie directed by Prabhu Dheva has caught massive attention through its ‘hatke’ dialogues and songs that make one dance to its beats.
Giving fans another reason to be excited, the Facebook page of the movie began the contest where the participants had to submit their stories in the comment box. The selection of the winning entries will be on the basis of how interesting and out-of-the-ordinary the story is and would then be turned into, what would be India’s first custom comic for any movie. The winners would be featured in their own story alongside Shahid and Sonakshi in their digital avatar in the Comic strip. The contest ended on 31st October 2013.
Talking about the concept says producer Viki Rajani, “The interactive comic book was purely strategized keeping the marketing angle in mind. Also it has become a huge talking point. We have uploaded stills of our hero on Facebook and Twitter. Users can add their own pictures to it and make a new story”
Eros International and NextGen Films’ R…Rajkumar starring Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha, directed by Prabhu Dheva is scheduled to release 6th December 2013.

Katrina Kaif who shot in Beirut alongside Saif Ali Khan for Kabir Khan’s untitled next put up a brave front , as the actress who is just about recovering from a viral flu shot in areas that saw temperatures sore, leading to the cast and crew facing severe dehydration.
The schedule that went on floors in the latter half of October turned out to be extremely challenging for the cast and crew given the unbearably hot weather in Lebanon at this time of the year.However,Bollywood lucky mascot Katrina Kaif ,being the professional that she is ,decided to shoot despite the current conditions in order to not inconvenience the cast and crew so that everyone would make it back to the country in time for the festive season.

Ranvir Dances On The Ramp
Ranvir Shorey`s next release On The Ramp, is almost completed. The Movie that is Produced by Rajeev Bhatia and Nitin Arora, has yet to release it`s trailer. The buzz is that, Ranvir who is known to tickle your funny bone will be seen dancing in this one.
According to the sources, the movie that was shot abroad, will see the comic actor dancing. Many thought that he has two left feet. But the way he danced stunned and silenced everyone. Choreographer Pappu Malu, well know for his tough dance routines too, had no problem instructing him. He even managed to shock his leading lady Urvashi Sharma in the process.
Director Imran Khalid too, was astonished beyond words. The story goes like this, Imran was very hesitant to have any dance numbers but when he saw Ranvir rehearsing with Pappu Malu few days before the shoot, he was surprised with Ranvir’s dancing abilities. He performed many breathtaking steps, which includes break-dance and hip-hop. Imraan was mightily impressed and decided to make him dance for the that specific song. He believes that, the song is very enticing and will surely grab the audience`s attention.
Ranvir plays a fashion designer in the film ,and carries a new look to support his role .

Thousands of people throng to Baahubali’s first outdoor shoot!
S S Rajamouli’s upcoming period drama Baahubali has piqued people’s interest already.
The hype surrounding the film is not without a reason and the stellar cast comprising Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty has ensured that the film continues to make news.
The cast and crew of the film got a first taste of people’s curiosity when they landed in Kurnool in early July to shoot the film. As soon as the news spread around that Rajamouli and his team had come to Kurnool, a small town in AP, thousands of people thronged to the shooting spot.
The entire team was caught off-guard and controlling the crowd became a mammoth task. Nearly 30, 000 people turned up on location.
It was a snowballing effect and the crowds kept soaring as time passed.
Initially, Rajamouli had planned to shoot few crucial scenes in Kurnool; however, incessant rainfall and boisterous crowds deterred him from continuing the shoot.
Before calling off the shoot, he decided to make the best opportunity of the pandemonium on the shooting spot. After Prabhas and Rana pacified the crowd to keep calm, Rajamouli took centre stage and requested everyone to scream ‘Jai Baahubali’ in sync. Interestingly, the entire incident was captured by the sound department so that it can be used in the film’s final cut to create the right ambient sound in some crucial scenes.
The film stars Prabhas, Rana, Anushka in lead roles whereas Ramya Krishna, Nassar, Sathyaraj, Kicha Sudeep, Adivi Sesh and Subbaraju will be playing supporting roles. The film’s shooting is currently going on in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad and the next schedule is going to take place in Kerala.

Farhan has been touring with his band, Farhan Live. He has been performing across cities. He has also been invited my umpteenth colleges.
Farhan’s band, which was formed early this year, Farhan Live is also quickly becoming popular internationally.
Farhan was hosted by Quincy Jones last month in Dubai and got a fantastic response.
Quincy has co-produced Michael Jackson’s albums and is a big name in the music world.
Immediately after that Farhan got umpteenth requests from various quaters in Dubai to come and perform
Seizing a good opportunity Farhan’s band went back to Dubai to perform. They were performing at Hard Rock Cafe on Diwali.
Dubai has a huge Indian community…
A lot of Indians and NRI’s flocked to HRC to catch Farhan’s show.
Diwali being a special occasion for is celebrated with vigor in Dubai. The event witnessed youth and even families come to watch Farhan Akhtar perform live.
The band has been snowballing ever since it came together, early this year.
Now post Dubai, Farhan has another 5 – 7 performances lined up in India
