Hrithik Roshan visits Dahi Handi for a Charitable Cause
Hrithik Roshan attends a Dahi Handi Celebration in Ghatkopar. Hrithik Roshan who underwent a brain surgery was advised to take it easy and not go to crowded and noisy places.
The Dahi Handi which Hrithik visited was supporting tribal girls suffering from starvation.
All the money earned was to go the the Ngo which supports this cause.
Hrithik says that “My doctors told me not to go to a place where there is a lot of noise as it might affect the senses. I was also told that I shouldn’t go to a crowded place where I might get pushed,”. “These are valid concerns but I feel that nothing can harm you when you are giving love. I felt completely protected.” “when someone does something great for others, it’s always wonderful to be a part of it and contribute.
“The euphoria was so overwhelming that I just went with the flow. The energy out there was incredible. And it was also for a social cause supporting tribal girls which is also why I chose to go. I can’t believe that I jumped and danced, even though I’m not allowed to right now,”

Actor producer and director Pooja Bhatt has another first for Fish Eye Network. The actress who became Bollywood’s youngest female producer at the age of 23 has now signed on Gulshan Devaiah for a two movie deal. The first is a film directed by Kaustav Narayan Niyogi called Cabaret and the second is an untitled one. This is the first time Pooja Bhatt has signed on any actor for a two film deal. While the media has been going berserk carrying reports of Kalki been upset over being called ‘Mentally Disturbed’ by the Jewelry designers DP Designs at the recent Glamour Style Walk where Kalki accidentally skipped to walk with the designers being the show stopper.
Ashish Kastiya of DP Designs is harrowed by the way everything post show has turned out to be, “We love Kalki, she put up an excellent show on the ramp doing complete justice to our designs & we would never call a professional mentally disturbed. There is sure some serious misunderstanding & miscommunication.”
He further adds, “It did come as a shock to us but on learning about a mere miscommunication, I have forgotten about the incident & I hope the media to talk about how amazing Kalki was on the ramp & not the aftermath.”

Sony Music Acquires the Rights Of Anubhav Sinha’s
‘WARNING’
Bollywood’s first underwater 3D Survival film
August, Mumbai 2013: Adding yet another flavour to its diversified catalogue, Sony Music Entertainment has acquired the music rights of Bollywood’s first ever underwater 3D movie ‘Warning’. The music of the movie is composed by multi-talented composers Meet Bros, Anjjan & Sharib Toshi.
The music is a mixed bag of feelings which combines romance, fun intrigue, suspense, horror and thrills that blend well with the theme of the movie. Sonu Nigam’s mellifluous rendition, Mika’s fun singing & John Stewart’s cutting edge sounds combined are sure to make the music a hit. John Stewart has also worked on the background score of the movie.
Commenting on the same, Sanujeet Bhujabal, Marketing Director, Sony Music Entertainment India said “The genre ‘Survival’ is a lesser ventured zone as far as Bollywood is concerned & we are really excited to associate with Eros & Benaras Mediaworks for ‘Warning’. This is our first venture with Anubhav Sinha and its great to work with him and his team. This is film-maker Anubhav Sinha’s debut production that narrates the story of a group of friends who lose their way at sea during a holiday adventure. The film stars all young faces – Manjari Fadnis of the Jaane tu Ya Jaane Na fame, Santosh Barmola, Jitin Gulati , Sumit Suri, Madhurima Tuli, Varun Sharma & Suzana Rodrigues.
Under the banner Eros & Benaras Mediaworks, the film hits the theatres on 27th of September, 2013 and the first single Taakeedein sung by Sonu Nigam will release in the first week of September 2013.

The DMC World DJ Championship – India gets overwhelming response
- DJ Roane Ace wins the title
Friday, August 30th 2013: The DMC World DJ Championship, which is the prominent showcase for DJ talent around the world held their India national finals yesterday. The finale witnessed 13 top DJ’s from all across the country battling it out for pole position.
The shortlisted contestants included DJ Monty (Pune), DJ Eshwar (Mumbai), DJ Manoj (Mumbai), DJ Skip (Delhi), DJ Craig (Chennai), DJ Kave (Chennai), DJ Raw-Z (Chennai) DJ V-key Arora (Delhi), DJ Navendu (Delhi), DJ Nipun (Mumbai), DJ Rahil Khan (Mumbai), DJ Roane Ace (Mumbai) and DJ Ishy (Delhi).
DJ Roane Ace was chosen as the winner by an esteemed jury comprising of Luke Kenny, DJ A- Myth and Sumit Shenoy. Seen hosting the event was leading turntablist DJ, Artist and highly skilled URI Solanki.
His winning entry has earned him a chance to represent India in the world finals which will be held on the 5th of October in London. Additionally the winner and the runners up of DMC 2013 will be representing India at IDA that shall be held in Poland on the 7th of December this year.
On the eve of the finale, AbdulSalam Shaikh from Code 9 which was the firm responsible for getting the license to bring the championship to India said, “We had conceptualized this with the aim of being able to recognize exceptional work in the world of DJ’ing in India. It was exhilarating to witness the championship take shape thanks to our esteemed partners and our esteemed panel of judges, who came on board to support this initiative.”
A spokesperson from DMC said, “With past experience in the arena of awarding exceptional talent in the DJ World, we were privileged to support Code 9’s efforts to extend the Championship to India. The national finals were conducted on par with international standards, the audience received an opportunity to view some excellent sets by the contestants.”
Luke Kenny who was the judge for the event added, “I am overwhelmed by the unprecedented response received in the first installment of this championship. This platform was much needed to encourage, support and award the best budding DJ’s in India.”
