The grand premiere episode of Boogie Woogie is going to be a full on entertainment affair as the two best dancing superstars Prabhudeva and Shahid Kapoor are going to kick off the new season in style.

The episode will see special guest Prabhudeva and Shahid Kapoor making an entry on their movie songs. They will be seen promoting their upcoming film ‘R…Rajkumar’. Prabhudeva will reveal that Boogie Woogie is his favourite show and speak in hindi saying, “Nritya ek adbhut kala hai”.

Manipur to be recreated in Darjeeling for Mary Kom biopic.

Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the Mary Kom biopic starring Priyanka Chopra is well on its way to completion, with the last schedule going on floors early next year in Darjeeling.

Though the film is based in Mary Kom’s hometown, Manipur, the makers will recreate Manipur in Darjeeling to avoid any delays which the weather may bring.

Says a source, “Though the shoot will take place in Manipur for a week, the cast and crew will then shift base to Darjeeling where they plan to recreate Manipur for some crucial scenes”.

Confirming the news says director Omung Kumar, “Though we’ve shot in Manali , our next schedule that will go on floors in February-March wouldn’t be possible to be filmed at Manipur since it will be snowing there at that time of the month and hence the idea of shooting at a village near Darjeeling”.

Sony Entertainment Television’s horror series ‘Bhoot Aaya’ will narrate story of a young couple Rizwaan and Farhaana who get married due to family pressures. On the very first night of their wedding unusual mishappenings seems to occur. Farhaana’s wedding outfit burns into ashes in front of her own eyes and when she complains it to her husband, he ignores. Later it is revealed that it was Rizwaan’s second marriage. Earlier he had eloped with a Hindu girl Megha and got married. After marriage, Megha’s attitude towards Rizwaan and his parents becomes brutally violent. Megha‘s anger goes out of control when she comes to know that Rizwaan has to leave for Dubai alone. She commits suicide by burning herself into flames. Now when Rizwaan gets married again she starts attacking Farhaana. The family decides to seek help from a Maluvi who will help them get rid of this evil omen.

Since it is an animated film based on the mythological scripture and the makers want parents to show this to their kids, as they should know about it, the makers are planning this out.

Very big names from the industry have lent their voices to characters in the film like Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor and the makers of the film feel animation is an easy way to convey stories to kids. Also they feel that kids are their biggest critics and if they enjoy the film, so will the others.

Currently, the team is putting together a list of star kids they would be inviting for the special screening.

Details of the big screening of small critics is being worked upon and tentatively they are keen to have Abhi – Ash’s daughter, Kajol and Ajay Devgn’s kids, Susan and Hrithik Roshan’s kids. They are planning to host this screening in the week of release at a suburban multiplex.

A ghost plane is visible to passengers of the flight which takes a particular path. Myth goes that a fighter pilot in an air combat got killed by the enemies and since then people flying through that route can see his ghost and his fighter plane. KD and his team happen to board a flight that takes that route and KD exchanges seats with a guy who was ill and gives him his seat in the business class. He sits with his team in the economy class. The flight was pretty much empty only two passengers in the business class, one being the ill man the other a politician. All of a sudden there is a sudden scream. The politician is dead and the other man has the murder weapon in his hand. He gets arrested. However he tells KD it was the ghost pilot who killed the politician not him.

Pressman/ Prashita Chaudhary’s Cinemorphic Entertainment Company production of The Man Who Knew Infinity, the biographic film on the life of Srinivasa Ramanujan with Dev Patel starring as the revered Indian mathematician. Irons extraordinary legacy of film, television and theatre performances includes: The French Lieutenant’s Woman opposite Meryl Streep; The Mission; and David Cronenberg’s Dead Ringers. He also starred in Damage and M. Butterfly and voiced the evil lion Scar in Disney’s classic The Lion King. Irons played opposite Bruce Willis in Die Hard: With A Vengeance, and also starred as Humbert Humbert in Adrian Lyne’s Lolita. Other career highlights include: Being Julia with Annette Bening; Appaloosa with Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen; and Bertolucci’s Stealing Beauty. Irons received a Tony® for his Broadway performance in Tom Stoppard’s The Real Thing and recently appeared in London in the National Theatre’s Never So Good, as well as the Royal Shakespeare Company’s The Gods Weep. Probably best known for his role as Charles Ryder in the cult TV serial Brideshead Revisited, Irons joined Helen Mirren in the award-winning television miniseries Elizabeth I. He was also recently lauded for his portrayal of iconic photographer Alfred Stieglitz in the award-winning biographical picture Georgia O’Keeffe.

Irons recent work includes the award winning independent feature Margin Call with Kevin Spacey, The Words with Bradley Cooper, and Beautiful Creatures directed by Richard LaGravenese.

In 2010, Jeremy Irons took on the role of Pope Alexander VI in the epic Showtime series The Borgias, a historical-fiction drama television series created by Neil Jordan. He also appeared in the PBS’ Great Performances television series in The Hollow Crown, produced by Sam Mendes for BBC Two.

Irons currently stars in Night Train to Lisbon, directed by Bille August. Additionally, Irons was an executive producer and featured actor in Trashed, a feature documentary directed by Candida Brady, which received a special screening at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.

Announcing the casting, Pressman said, “I am delighted to be working with Jeremy again. Our last collaboration on Reversal of Fortune earned an Oscar for Jeremy, and I could not overstate his amazing talent. We are very fortunate to be able to add an actor of such stature to our production.”

“I read the book last year and since then have been keen to turn this into a film,” says Prashita. “So when this opportunity came up, I jumped at it as an extension of my dream to create and spread world cinema. I’m very excited that an actor like Jeremy Irons will play the crucial role of Ramanujan’s mentor G.H. Hardy. I look forward to the film’s shoot in India and the UK next year,” she adds.

As previously announced, Dev Patel will portray the mathematics genius Ramanujan. Patel shot to stardom in the Oscar-winning Slumdog Millionaire, followed by a leading role in The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. He has a starring role in the Aaron Sorkin/HBO series The Newsroom and recently completed filming on Child 44 and The Road Within.

He is currently starring opposite Hugh Jackman in Chappie.

Matthew Brown has also written Ian Fleming, which is based on Andrew Lycett’s biography Ian Fleming: The Man Behind James Bond, which begins production in 2014, and London Town for Dutch Tilt Films.

Production is expected to commence on locations in the UK and India in 2014.

Pressman, Chaudhary, Young and Sondervan will produce with Pressman’s COO Jon Katz serving as Executive Producer along with Tristine Skyler, Xeitgeist’s Joe Thomas, Pamela Godfrey, Mark Montgomery and Min-Li Tan. Tayyab Madni will serve as an Associate Producer.
