Engineered timber flooring is a flooring solution that utilises engineered timber boards designed specifically for flooring. Engineered timber boards are made up of multiple layers of wood joined together, forming a far more stable plank which is much less likely to swell or shrink with changes in temperature and humidity. The composite wood core of Havwoods’ Par-ky engineered timber boards also makes them extremely impact-resistant. The stability of engineered timber versus solid wood also means that longer and wider engineered timber boards can be produced. Engineered timber flooring can also be as easy to install as laminate flooring. Thanks to its stability, engineered timber can be laid as a floating floor, reducing the time and cost of installation.
