neaco’s appearance at the inaugural Build Show exhibition, taking place from 6– 8 October at the NEC in Birmingham, will introduce two brand new product innovations with balustrade featuring LED under-lighting and structural glass with fabric inserts.

Stand B3/506 will showcase the new products as the latest of a multitude of design options offered by neaco’s range of contemporary balustrade, balconies and aluminium flooring systems. Other recent product developments on display will include Elan semi-structural glass balustrade, a selection of contemporary stanchion designs and Neatdek 188, a new decking system featuring concealed drainage gaps for safer footing and greater privacy.

neaco’s UK Business Development Manager, Peter Melia, said: “The Build Show is the perfect platform for the launch of these brand new products. neaco is a company with a rich pedigree of innovation and our policy of continual product development has delivered some exciting results once again in 2015. The LED under-lighting further enhances the high architectural aesthetic which characterizes our Spectrum balustrade range whilst our structural glass fabric inserts include a wide variety of textile patterns which can add colour, texture and style to design schemes. We are looking forward to discussing them with designers, construction professionals, tradespeople and selfbuilders at the Build Show.”

With a unique T-bar grille design which appears to be closed but is actually open, Neatdek 188 completely restricts the view from above and below and keeps litter and other items on the surface for easy cleaning. The absence of gaps on the foot contact area also makes it safe to walk in any type of footwear, including stilettos.

neaco’s UK business development manager, Peter Melia, said: “Neatdek 188’s  gap-free surface makes it ideal for raised flooring because it provides greater privacy. For regular decking applications, the T-bar profile provides excellent drainage and ventilation but there is no problem with litter falling through and accumulating underneath, and similarly there is no danger of accidentally dropping valuable items below. Neatdek 188 also offers a significant advantage over regular decking and metal grating with its safe footing making it an excellent option for all types of flooring, including bridges and public spaces where pedestrian safety is paramount.”

neaco’s Elan semi-structural glass is a stylish and minimalist alternative to traditional balustrade solutions. Most balustrade designs secure glass infill panels in place by attaching them to the stanchions with a clip, but Elan’s glass panels are secured by a top rail above and a subtle floor channel below. The result is a sleek appearance, an economical use of materials and an easy-to-install solution. Designed for non-raked installations, Elan is also available as a modular balcony system complete with neaco’s aluminium grille flooring.

Available in powder coated aluminium or stainless steel - or a combination of both – neaco’s Spectrum balustrade range includes a comprehensive choice of infills, from toughened glass and rails to mesh, tension wire and perforated panels. Aluminium Spectrum is available in a wide variety of solid, metallic and wood-effect finishes which are warm to the touch. The Spectrum range also includes a wide choice of glass-panelled Juliet and walk-on balconies. All neaco products are backed by a class-leading Lifetime Guarantee – further information is available at www.neaco.co.uk
