The AluK brand of aluminium window, door and curtain walling systems has been launched in the UK marketplace, offering innovation, performance and a global support network.
Aluminium building systems manufacturer Blyweert Beaufort Aluminium Limited has been a leader in the design of window and door products in the UK for the past 20 years. In June 2012 the company was purchased and became part of the global AluK Group.
From 8th April 2013 the UK business has been rebranded AluK (GB) Limited and will now operate offering two brands of performance aluminium products, the AluK brand of specification window, door and curtain walling systems and the Beaufort by AluK range of windows and doors for residential and light commercial applications.
The AluK Group is a global provider of aluminium building systems, delivering a wide range of products across the EMEA and Asia regions. Their products have been installed in many of the world’s most prestigious buildings.
As a part of this group the UK business now has the support and investment to expand its operations and offer a more diverse range of products, building upon its popular and respected UK designed and manufactured windows, doors and curtain walling.
A significant investment programme has already begun, designed to improve efficiency, service and customer support. Through increased mechanisation, expansion of our manufacturing and storage capabilities and the introduction of a wide range of new products, the AluK Group have demonstrated its commitment to the UK marketplace.

Over the coming months and years AluK will be launching a range of new, innovative and unique aluminium products for both the specification and trade sectors. This will expand their portfolio and offer integrated systems that are sustainable, high performance and aesthetically striking.
As part of this product innovation we are pleased to announce the launch of two new aluminium door systems and upgrades to the market leading 58BW window suite.
BSC70 Sliding Door System - This narrow sightline sliding door system has been designed to combine performance, aesthetic appeal and price, offering a solution for residential and commercial applications. Robust and of the highest quality construction, the system includes a wrap-round glazing system for ease of glazing and to provide minimal sight lines.
The door is available as a 2-pane sliding patio which utilises high strength adjustable rollers for ease of installation and can accommodate up to 160kg of glass per leaf. With only a 70mm frame, as standard, this enables the system to be coupled to any Beaufort by AluK window or folding door system effortlessly. Ultra-slim sightlines with a 43mm middle interlock and multi-point locking as standard, with elegant P-shaped handles in a range of colour options.
Available in many colours and finishes this is a flexible and reliable system to suit most applications.
GT55 TB Thermally Broken Door System - The combination of aluminium construction and a range of bespoke security and safety features make this one of the most secure fully glazed swing doors available on the market. Through the use of our unique thermal break technology it offers improved thermal performance and is available in a wide range of colours, either single or dual.
Structurally enhanced door framing, ultra secure, specialist glazing and the incorporation of high security single and multi-point mechanical dead locks ensures maximum levels of security can be achieved, soon to be added to our Secured by Design scheme license.
It is ideal for a range of heavy duty commercial and public sector applications including offices, hospitals, schools, warehousing and other industrial applications.
58BW ST Steel Replacement Window System - The AluK 58BW ST Steel Replacement Window system has become very popular in the refurbishment of residential and commercial properties where there is a desire to maintain the traditional look of steel windows but improve performance at a lower cost.
Now we have introduced three new profiles to the industry’s slimmest sightline aluminium window system (45mm) including flat appearance, stepped edge and feature look. They offer the most extensive choice yet when looking for a stylish and contemporary, maximum glazing appearance.
