Creating an outdoor space for entertaining is high on our list of things to accomplish ever since we bought this house last year. Unfortunately, our patio is going to require a significant amount of $$$ to repair so we decided to renovate our little screen porch space instead. I absolutely love the way it all came together and between my dad and my husband, they finished the project is 3.5 weeks! You can check it out here!
We always used to love going out to brunch on Sundays, but now that we both work a lot of weekends, we have decided to make this little porch our new favorite brunch spot! I love coming here every morning to wake up and we love to host our friends here for brunch as well! Being able to have that cool breeze coming through on a summer morning/afternoon (without the bugs bothering us) is the best thing about this new porch! This was the best remodel we’ve done so far!
I am teaming up with Backyard Farms today to tell you a little bit about their 2nd annual #BackyardStyle sweepstakes for a $2,500 gift card at Pottery Barn! All you have to do to enter is head here! In celebration of this amazing giveaway I also wanted to provide you with my favorite Bloody Mary cocktail!
For those of you that have never heard about Backyard Farms, here is a little background! They have a 42-acre greenhouse for their growing tomatoes in Maine and they have personal gardeners that look after 10 rows of plants and give them the love and attention that they deserve. You can find them in certain grocery stores from Maine to Maryland and their personal gardeners enjoy a comprehensive benefits package and incentive program that rewards them for their hard work.
I found this amazing Bloody Mary recipe from Backyard Farm’s chef network partners, Mary Ann Esposito, host of Ciao Italia on PBS and knew I had to whip it up for our guests that we love to host! Without further ado, here is one of my favorite bloody mary recipes for you to enjoy this summer!
