Around 2,500 men and women will run, jog or walk 100km along the Ridgeway from the Chilterns in Oxfordshire to the Avebury Stone Circle in Wiltshire in the Dixons Carphone Race to the Stones this weekend. The Ridgeway is the oldest path in the UK stretching back over 5,000 years, has breathtaking views and is lined with Bronze Age hill forts, Neolithic burial chambers and Roman river crossings.
