NEW BEDFORD, Mass. — The Auxiliary of St. Luke's Hospital recently presented Southcoast™ Health System with a $75,000 check to support the Southcoast Centers for Cancer Care.

The donation, made during a luncheon on September 24 at Fernando's Restaurant in New Bedford, will go towards the $250,000 pledge the Auxiliary made to Southcoast Center for Cancer Care in Fairhaven. To date, the Auxiliary has raised $145,000 of its $250,000 pledge.

"We are extremely happy to be able to have paid $145,000 in two years on this pledge," said Lilly Fagundes, Co-President of the Auxiliary of St. Luke's Hospital. "On behalf of the Auxiliary, I would like to thank all of those who have helped to make this happen."
