PR Account Executive / Technical Marketing

Location: Luton

Package: £24,000-30,000

Our client is a specialist and fast-growing PR and marketing company, they are looking for electrical or mechanical engineers who want to make the most of their technical qualifications but who might not necessarily want to pursue a career with a 'straight-forward' engineering company.

They have a growing and diverse range of very well known clients in the industrial, oil and gas and construction industries and need people who understand the fundamentals of engineering and who would be excited by joining a company which prizes these skills highly (especially if they are coupled with language skills).

They are looking for graduates or people looking for a second job who will want to learn about the disciplines of PR and marketing and to enter an environment where the bringing together of these PR skills with technical knowledge can lead to rapid career advancement, a good salary and benefits (with the opportunity for regular bonuses) and a high tempo, friendly working environment.

Entering the business as an account executive means learning how to thrive in the pan-EMEA technical PR sector from the ground up. You'll receive a mix of both professional and on-the-job training which will give you an insight into the media, the chance to create content across multiple platforms from press releases to Twitter and the opportunity to support our clients at trade shows and events from the N.E.C to Abu Dhabi!
