Hi Friends!

I wish I had a fun health post to bring you today, but instead- I've just got great news!

WE ARE MOVING!!!!!

Not anywhere far (and certainly not to New York like I wish:), but we are moving across town to a much nicer neighborhood in a HUGE house, unlike anything I've ever lived in throughout my entire LIFE. I'm PUMPED!

Our New House- it needs some updating but we love it!

We've been looking for several months now since we're packed to the gills here at my house and luckily, the house we wanted was just reduced enough to where my mother and stepdad could officially put in an offer. Though I'd love to be married or out on my own, that just hasn't been in the cards for me as soon as I wish, but I feel so blessed to have an awesome family to move into a new home with.

Not only is the new house beautiful, but it also has a GINORMOUS KITCHEN!!!! I even get my own pantry and "prep counter" for my blender, juicer, etc.:) No more lugging them in and out of the pantry anymore AND the kitchen is all bright and cheery, just perfect for photos!

Despite the fact I'm still living at home, it's clear to me that in my circumstances right now that blessings can still come, even if you can't help your own situation.

My mom was incredibly blessed to marry such a hard-working, dependable, caring man like my stepfather several years ago and I have to say, he'll never take the place of my dad, but he sure is amazing and I'm so thankful my mom has him.

Me and Tim

Mom and Tim

I am so excited for them that this will be their first house they purchase together since he moved into our house with me, my mom, and my brother after they got married in 2009.

Tim's children-(Heather and Timmy) on the left, My Mom and Tim in the middle, and my brother Jeremy and I on the right

The four of us (me, my mom, my brother and stepdad) will all be moving within the next month and I can't wait to take a ton of pictures to show you all:)

Our House Now

THE BEST part is that we got an offer on our house the SAME day we found out we won the bid on the new house. Two other families actually had an offer in on the house we wanted and we had to wait a week to find out which offer won.

We got a call Monday morning that OUR OFFER won and Monday night we got another call that someone wanted to buy OUR house and had put in an offer! Talk about a great Monday- it was so needed! We've been on pins and needles all week and God has SERIOUSLY answered some major prayers in this little neck of the woods of SC!

Our family has been to hell and back the last few years between my dad passing, my car accident in 2010, my eating disorder, and past financial struggles. There's been a lot of yelling, tears, apologies, and prayers but I'm so grateful we've had a home in the midst of it. Still, our house hasn't been the most bundle joy of memories to put it nicely.

I'm surer than ever that this move will be the best fresh start for our family, and a much needed one at that.  We have ALOT of work to do at the new house so it's going to be incredibly stressful between work, blogging, cleaning, packing, and moving but I'm absolutely TICKLED PINK:)

So all in all, I just couldn't wait to journal this special day on the blog or share my excitement with all of you. You'll be seeing all kinds of photos over the next month, not to mention gorgeous food shots in our brand new kitchen!

Don't worry- I'll totally give you a pantry tour too:) Oh! And did I mention I'm even getting my own fridge too??! Don't be jealous- it's just because my family literally LOATHES all the food I keep in the fridge and just doesn't understand why I need so many greens, yogurt, and superfoods:)

I know. It's a little overwhelming, but what can I say? I'm a healthy eater who LIKES to eat and a food blogger who gets free goodies that she loves!?:)

Since we have room for an extra fridge and HAVE an extra fridge on hand, I'll be getting booted and scoring my own chill space:)

I'm truly so grateful and have offered to cook them dinner for the first month we're there to make it up to them!;)

Grilled chicken, sweet potato fries, and green beans- one of their favorites that I make they'll actually eat:)

Oh, and I just MIGHT be creating a new Pinterest board for the new house as well in the next week:) Hey, a girl's gotta get ready, right? It might not be New York as soon as I wish, but none the less, I'm SO THRILLED!!!!

Thank you for letting me share all of this with you and good luck on the NuNaturals stevia contest!!!:)
