Hey guys! Happy Thursday… so I am BACK!!!

I am currently getting ready to go to the big launch of my SOSU By Suzanne Jackson gel polish collection, and it’s literally the first time in two crazy weeks that I have been able to just sit and let everything sink in!

As some of you will know from my social media, Dylan and I were in Dallas for the last week attending a fashion conference and oh my God, did we have the time of our lives! We went to the most amazing parties, met some of the biggest international bloggers who I have followed for years, and packed as much fun as we could into the few days we were there.

The flight was horribly long, my feet are still swollen, but Dallas really is worth it. The view from our hotel suite alone was like something an artist would dream up and paint. I fell head over heels in love with Dallas so much, that I would actually considering moving there before NYC. Like dont get me wrong, NYC is amazing but Dallas in my opinion is better and less busy too! Everyone associates New York with fashion, but trust me, Dallas is equally as stylish! It’s such a great city, and they love to super size everything there. Whether it’s their hair, their sculptures, or their food portions, their attitude is bigger is always better!

The first night of the conference we actually attended a rooftop pool party with Stuart Weitzman and it was so glam, like something you would see in the movies. On our last night, we also got to enjoy the most incredible fireworks display over the Continental Avenue Bridge, which they closed down especially for the bloggers in attendance at the conference! I was thrilled I got to meet the blogger Jade Scott whom I have been following for two years now. She was absolutely lovely in person!

The conference itself was so interesting. It was all about the business of blogging and we got to hear from some hugely inspirational people within the industry. I actually made x4 great friends from Chicago on the first night and I cant wait to hook up with them again soon, we are already planning a trip over to them! Being invited to this conference was such an honour for me as a blogger. All the top bloggers from around the world were there, and by the end of it, I left feeling massively inspired. I have been buzzing with lots of new ideas for SoSueMe ever since we arrived home!

While we were there, we carried out a little shopping. I picked up a new pair of Stuart Weitzman, and when I posted a picture to Instagram of me wearing a pair of Stuart Weitzman gladiator sandals, I received a very nice comment from none other than … Stuart Weitzman! That brand is HUGE, so to say I was chuffed is putting it mildly!

Dylan and I arrived home on Tuesday, and from the moment we touched down in Dublin Airport, all I wanted to do was cuddle my two doggies, Coco and Harper. I always miss them like crazy when I’m away.

Right, I have to leave for 10 Ormond Street soon. I’m a mixture of excitement and nerves right now! I still can’t believe the big launch is tonight! I spent so long working on this product and from tonight it’s going to be officially out there for everyone to enjoy!

Enjoy my outfit post and have a great weekend!

Outfit 1

On the first night, I wore this casual yet comfy outfit. We actually just went for dinner in the hotel this particular night and I noticed people were a little dressed up than normal of a Wednesday in the hotel lobby early that evening and so I thought this cute little outfit would do the job. This crop top is co cosy on and it would be fab teamed even with a little pair of shorts in the summer. I love a bardot neck line, I think its very glam and instantly give you a dressy vibe.

These jeans have such an amazing fit and they never loose their shape which is why I adore them! I actually wore these over on the plane or 12 hours and still they had a lovely feel to them, they didn’t go all loose around the bum and they stayed looking white too

On the very first night, we attended the Stuart Weiztman party, and of course being the very first night I was going to meet everyone, I wanted to look stylish, classy and feel comfortable in myself – thankfully this outfit did exactly that. Crochet is going to be another huge trend for summer and this top teamed with anything, jeans, shorts or a skirt will look amazing on! It’s the perfect wardrobe summer staple.

I actually wore this outfit on my very first day for registration. I aslo had a business meeting with a brand out there after registration so I wanted to look again, classy and fashionable. These culottes are SO fab on, really comfy and they hide a multitude! If you are a bit conscious of your tummy – these hide it. I teamed them with a cute lace bra-let and finished off the look with this mac jacket that I am going to LIVE in this summer I’m sure. It goes with everything, its light, classy and white (hello summer)  – the perfect summer coat.

On the second night we attended the River Island party and so I decided to wear this outfit for the occasion. This is actually a top and a skirt and I have to say I loved it on. I felt great in it and it’s not too fitted, so again giving you that bit of room to breathe in. Of course I teamed it with this coat again – hello new wardrobe fave! These shoes by the way are so comfortable – I couldn’t believe it. A lot of people admired them over in Dallas and I’m sure judging by their elegance – they will be a great seller this summer.

For the last day at the conference, I wore this casual number. There is something about a classy shirt and a pair of jeans isn’t there. Of course I had my flip flops in my bag, there was no I was traipsing around in those Loubs for the day. haha This eye behind me was actually so cool in person, I think every blogger there that weekend got a picture by it.

Outfit 6

A trouser suit? Need I say anymore! They are glam, classy and the never date! I actually fell head over heel in love with the beaded top. Again, its quite lose fitting around the tummy area, so forgiving if you are tummy conscious. I was extremely bloated from all the travelling and so I loved this teamed with my suit to give me that extra confidence in such a fitted number. The back detail of this top is FAB and my mum even bought one today. I also spotted a very similar one in kaki green today and I think I will be buying that one next to go with a cream leather skirt I have!

Outfit 7

On the last day, I wanted to be comfy and casual. We were flying home that evening and so I decided on this outfit. These are actually my new Stuart Weitzman gladiator sandals and they are so comfy on. I think comfort is a HUGE factor when wearing an outfit, and as you can see from this post – every singe time I chose an outfit ,  I went with comfort over anything.

If you dont feel comfortable in something, then forget about it, your night is ruined (well until you’ve had a few vodkas that is..), but no seriously – dress for YOU, dress for comfort and you will rock anything you wear.
