Photographers have a way of capturing everything alive and they can make anything look far better than it actually was!
But, when it comes to pictures of animals, we can just reel over each one of them. They have an inherent innocence in them that makes us feel close to them. And, the way they can look at you, that unconditional love cannot be shown by another human being, but only animals are capable of loving you that way.

1. A macaque monkey
This monkey in Indonesia took the camera from the photographer and snapped himself in a variety of poses. The fact that this is an endangered species of monkey, makes these pictures all the way more special.

This rhino was being transported by a helicopter in South Africa, to a less populated area, so that he could survive better.
3. A Panda cub
Only the cub is for real. The other grown-up pandas are just humans all dressed up. The researchers have to do that when they want to transfer a cub to a new living environment at the Hetaoping Research and Conservation Center.
4. A dog being rescued
This dog survived not only the Japanese earthquake of 2011, but also went through with living three weeks at sea, before he was rescued!
5. An African spurred tortoise
This rare tortoise is with two heads and five legs, and is on display in Slovakia.

8. Ciuchcia, a four-month-old dog
His rear legs were paralyzed after he was abused and left on a train track. He survived despite being run over by several trains. He can be seen chasing a cat at a shelter for homeless animals in Poland.
9. World’s longest surviving “janus” feline
“Frank and Louie” is 12 years old, and has two mouths, two noses and three eyes. It has one brain, so the faces react in unison!
