MIAMI (15 de abril, 2015) – Central Park de Manhattan, uno de los espacios más conocidos en todo el mundo, será el sitio de otro gran triunfo para el cantante y compositor argentino Vicentico.
El sábado, 11 de julio, se presentará por primera vez como solista en Nueva York, en Central Park SummerStage, la serie de conciertos patrocinados por la ciudad de Nueva York cada verano, y por LAMC (Latin Alternative Music Conference), la conferencia anual dedicada a la música alternativa latina. El elenco de este concierto también incluye a Ximena Sariñana y No Te Va a Gustar.
Indiscutiblemente, Vicentico es considerado un pionero del movimiento “alt-latino” desde su tiempo como vocalista líder de Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, quienes alcanzaron su consagración internacional en los años 90 por sus composiciones muy personales, el contenido social de sus letras y por sus fusiones de rock, ska y ritmos brasileños.
Vicentico se encuentra en muy buena etapa de su carrera con el éxito de su reciente álbum Último Acto, que ha llegado a ser su sexto disco de Platino en Argentina, destacándose por los éxitos “Esclavo de tu Amor” y “Viento” a dúo con Intocable.
Último Acto fue grabado entre marzo y julio del 2014 en las ciudades de Los Ángeles, Nueva York, Nashville, Kingston (Jamaica) y Buenos Aires, el álbum de 18 temas incluye versiones totalmente nuevas de algunos de los grandes éxitos previos de Vicentico y cuatro temas que él nunca había grabado anteriormente, entre las que se encuentra el antes mencionado “Esclavo de tu Amor,” “Las Estrellas,” “Último Acto” y “Solo Otra Vez” (Alone Again, Naturally).
Este nuevo trabajo cuenta con varias participaciones estelares como las del dúo jamaiquino Sly & Robbie (“Las Estrellas”), las bandas Intocable (“Viento” y “Cobarde”) y Our Latin Thing (“Algo Contigo,” “Culpable” y “Los Caminos De La Vida”), y su mujer Valeria Bertuccelli (“No Te Apartes De Mi”).
Galardonado con el GRAMMY® como vocalista de Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, y con el Latin GRAMMY® como solista, al igual que varios premios Gardel y de MTV, Vicentico es respetado en todo el mundo por sus fusiones de sonidos y su voz única.

MIAMI (April 15, 2015) – Central Park in Manhattan, one of the best-known public spaces in the world, will play host to another historic triumph in the career of the Argentine singer and songwriter Vicentico.
On Saturday, July 11, he is set to present his first-ever New York solo concert as part of Central Park SummerStage, New York City’s iconic arts series, in conjunction with the LAMC (Latin Alternative Music Conference), the annual gathering of alt-Latin artists and industry leaders. The concert’s lineup also includes Ximena Sariñana and No Te Va a Gustar.
Indisputably, Vicentico is considered a pioneer of the Latin Alternative musical movement from his time as frontman of Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, who gained international notoriety during the 1990s for their personal compositions, their lyrics’ social content, and their fusions of rock, ska and Brazilian rhythms.
Vicentico finds himself in a rewarding stage of his career, as his latest album Último Acto (Final Act) has become his sixth Platinum record in Argentina, and includes the hits “Esclavo de tu Amor” (Slave to Your Love) and “Viento” (Wind), featuring Intocable.
Vicentico spent March-July 2014 recording Último Acto in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, Kingston (Jamaica) and Buenos Aires. This 18-track album comprises newly recorded duet versions of Vicentico’s greatest hits, plus four brand-new recordings: the aforementioned “Esclavo de tu Amor,” along with “Las Estrellas,” “Último Acto” y “Solo Otra Vez” (Alone Again, Naturally).
Among his other collaborators on Último Acto are the Jamaican duo Sly & Robbie (“Las Estrellas”), Intocable (“Viento” and “Cobarde”), Our Latin Thing (“Algo Contigo,” “Culpable” and “Los Caminos De La Vida”), and his wife Valeria Bertuccelli (“No Te Apartes De Mi”).
