The end drew near. As evening fell, the townsfolk began their last stand. They returned to DIO's home, and lying in wait for them was his faithful servant: Vanilla Ice, AKA Hyperteck. He stood guard over the corpse of the priest Enrico Pucci, AKA Pineapple - who had been hit by a stray bolt of lightning earlier in the day after refusing to move for an entire day. How ironic that he was ultimately killed by an act of god. Vanilla Ice knew this was the end. The sun was still in the sky. In a last act of defiance, Vanilla Ice threw himself outside, destroying himself with the sunlight. DIO's followers had finally been vanquished. The Joestars had won.
