Hyderabad is the capital of Telangana, India, and is one of the largest metropolitan cities in the country. The city is often known by the sobriquet The City of Pearls

PV Narasimha Expressway
Unfortunately to your surprise Hyderabad also happens to hold the record of constructing India’s longest flyover. It spans over 11.27 km approximately. This flyover provides direct connectivity to the International Airport, it also happens to cut the travel time to reach the Airport from the city by approximately 30-40 min. And its totally free of cost, just for the ease and welfare of the people.

Charminar was built to honour a promise
It is believed that Charminar was built to honor a promise Quli Qutb Shah made to Allah. It was in fact, built to mark the end of the plague in the city.
IT and Pharmaceutical Hub
The images below will clearly depict the authenticity of why it is called the IT and Pharma hub.
Microsoft – Hyderabad Office
Google – Hyderabad Office
And Google is also planning to open its campus in Hyderabad. It will be first of its kind in India. It will be their third campus in the world. The other two are in US and UK.
I feel this is the biggest news in IT since the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
Raheja Mindspace – Hitech City, Hyderabad
A well built, properly planned space that creates a splendid atmosphere for the companies. Many of the IT and Pharma companies lease their office space in Raheja Mindspace.
ICICI Office – Hyderabad
This the largest office of ICICI bank and can accommodate 22,000 employees.
Cyber Towers
If these instances still make you think that its the most backward city of India in 2015, then you don’t deserve this City.
It seems like the last place to talk about progress or equality.
This city has people from most of the religions and ethnic groups. Although majority of the people are either Hindus or Muslims, but the distribution goes like this.
According to the 2001 census, Hyderabad district’s religious make-up was: Hindus (55.41%), Muslims (41.17%), Christians (2.43%), Jains (0.43%), Sikhs (0.29%) and Buddhists (0.02%); 0.23% did not state any religion.

In spite of all this there are very rare fights and wars among the various religious communities. Nothing as big as Muzzafarnagar happened here. The only regret is that one part of the city commonly known as ‘Old City’ is populated with Muslims majorly. Now the clubbing of the Old City with the New City will be a boon.
There are some corners in the uptown and the downtown areas of the city where both elite class and the non-elite class are treated the same way. There is no difference between them. Most of such places are eat-outs. If you are a true Hyderabadi then you will definitely know these places.
Paradise – Biryani Point, Supposedly the best pearl of Hyderabad.
Buddha statue at hussain sagar lake is the largest Monolithic statue of gautam Buddha in the world
The statue is 18-metre high and located in a small island in the middle of the lake. The statue was chiseled out of a white granite rock, weighting 450 tons, by 200 sculptors in two years.
Best Haleem Ever – Mutton.
It is generally consumed during the holy month of Ramadan. Its one of the best dishes according to my friends [I am vegan so I have never had it].
But if you are in Hyderabad and you have time then visit Paradise or Almond House. They serve the best and mouth-watering Haleem.
I have got to agree that Hyderabad is hot during this time of the year, but the humid part is not true. Its only due to the rains that the city has been receiving recently. All other seasons it has a very pleasant weather. No freezing temperatures during winters. No heavy rains that will block the transport during rainy season. It has exactly the right amount of what is needed.
Not all people fight, but most of the people of Hyderabad are hot-headed and there is nothing much that we can do about. Leave them to their own misery.
