An adorable forest vole perches on a snowball to nibble the carrot nose of a miniature snowman. The inquisitive little creature scuttled out of his burrow to inspect the small snowman which appeared next to his home.
As he began to snack on the carrot nose, he was joined by another vole which clambered onto the snowman's head. These enchanting photographs were captured by photographer Vadim Trunov, 32, in a forest in the Voronezh region of Russia. SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.
