NEET 2017 has been conducted by CBSE as national level Medical Entrance Examination. National Eligibility Entrance Test CBSE NEET 2017 will be for determining merit for MBBS and BDS Admission for the session 2017- 2018. Candidates must look the official notification for apply very seriously. It is almost identical to the All India Pre Medical/Dental Test (AIPMT) which the board organized until last year. NEET 2017 Age Limit:
Eligibility for seats under the control of States/Universities/Institutions/ AFMC
He/she has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course and is an INDIAN NATIONAL.
Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are eligible for admission in Medical/Dental Colleges subject to rules and regulations framed by the respective State Governments and the Government of India.
The upper age limit for candidates seeking admission under seats in the control of participating States/Universities/Institutions shall be as per their rules and regulations.
Upper Age Limit:
The upper age limit for candidates seeking admission under 15% All India Quota Seats is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes. Candidate must born on or between
(a) 01/01/87 to 01/01/2000 (SC/ST/OBC Category)
(b) 01/01/92 to 01/01/2000 (Other Category)
Admit Card:
The CBSE will provide the facility of downloading Admit Cards of NEET – II on the Board’s website along with a format for affixing of Postcard size photograph. Candidates are required to download the admit cards from the website and follow the instructions given therein. Candidate may please note that admit cards will not be sent by the post.
The Admit Card will bear the candidate’s Roll Number, Name, Father’s Name, Category, Sub-Category, Photograph, Signature, Date of Birth, Language of Question Paper with Name and Address of examination centre allotted. The candidate should carefully examine the Admit Card downloaded by him/her for all the entries made therein.
Candidate must not mutilate the Admit Card or change any entry made therein.
Candidates are advised to preserve their Admit Cards in good condition till admission in Medical/ Dental Colleges is over.

DECLARATION OF RESULT:
The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the NEET - 2017 Examination, evaluate the Answer Sheets and the result will be hosted on website www.aipmt.nic.in. Exact date of declaration of result will be intimated through website. The CBSE will prepare the merit list / wait list as per the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, DGHS, MCI and DCI.
No category wise result sheet will be prepared. As soon as the result is ready, CBSE will host the results on the website and thereafter candidates may download the Result Sheets.
All Candidates appearing in NEET - 2016 Examination must remain in touch with the websites of CBSE, MOHFW, Medical Counselling Committee (www.mcc.nic.in) and Participating States/Universities/ Institutions till conclusion of final round of Counselling.
Counselling for seats under 15% All India Quota:
Online counselling would be conducted by the MCC of Directorate General of Health Services. Information for online counselling would only be available on Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website (www.mcc.nic.in). Candidates placed in Merit/ Wait List are advised to read the counselling related information carefully and understand the course of action to be taken by them for appearing in the Counselling. Important Points About NEET 2017:
NEET 2017 is single common medical entrance exam in India. In other words, only some MBBS / BDS entrance exams will be there except National Eligibility Entrance Test, such as AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam 2017, and JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam 2017.
There will be 8 (eight) languages in which NEET 2017 question paper is to be framed. These include Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu.
Candidates can apply online for NEET as soon as the online application form is available.
Prior to the exam, all applicants can download NEET 2017 admit card and know assigned exam centers and roll numbers.
