Familia…

I wanted to take a few minutes this Sunday morning to recap some of the amazing things happening in the Hispanic / Latino social space today. I hope you like this recap… if you do, please leave a comment and let us know.

First let me say that this week’s Hispanicize HX has re-energized the business community in NYC after an incredible networking event featuring Ted Talks like presentations from Mariela Dabbah  (Author – Find Your Inner Red Shoe) and Rick Najera (Author, Almost White).

Hispanicize HX invited some of NYC’s most connected Media Professionals, Artists, Writers, Directors, Singers, Dancers, Broadcasters, Bloggers, Influencers, Community Builders, Musicians and Authors to network in the world famous Copacabana courtesy of Chivas. Dwight Gooden, Reyes Del Bajo Mundo, Sound Boy Cartagena, Mr #FunnyLatino Roman Suarez, Rebecca “Gitana” Torres were among some of the celebrities networking and on hand to see the electrifying Psychadelic Salsa performance by La Mecanica Popular. As the drinks poured and conversations ignited, these communities came together with a clear vision of what we can do collectively thru collaboration. NYC may never be the same. Special thanks to Impacto News, Hispanicize Wire, Creative Media Group, Urban Latino Magazine who joined my team here at Sofrito Media Group (#TeamCapicu) as media sponsors.
