An experienced engineer, webmaster and online exporter found that powerful officials have misused her name to give fake references to their young girlfriends, claiming that these young women were engineers with many years experience, to appoint them to lucrative positions in intelligence agencies like NTRO, RAW, CBI and military intelligence, which they would have never got on the basis of their own qualifications, experience and investments. Now these powerful officials are blackmailing the experienced engineer, claiming that they were confident that the engineer would agree to identity theft.
But on what basis did the powerful officials in intelligence agencies make the assumption that the engineer would agree to identity theft? Why should an innocent person give up her experience and savings of twenty years, and agree to identity theft? Were these powerful officials overconfident that they would be able to block all her income sources, steal all her orders and leads? Or subject the single woman to so much harassment that she would agree to identity theft?
Who was the person a government official, who boasted that he could force her to agree identity theft? Why was he given powers of surveillance over her? Is harassment of harmless single woman not a crime, sexual harasssment? Is it legal for government officials to deny the fundamental rights of a private citizen, the right to earn a livelihood? Is it part of their official duties or are they wasting official resources for settling a private grudge? Why is there no way to check the waste of resources?
Or are these officials overconfident that they will defame the experienced engineer to such an extent, that it will be difficult to earn a living? Is defamation of an innocent person not a criminal and civil offense, where the person responsible can be sent to jail or made to pay large amounts as compensation?. Or is google and tata offering huge amounts to the officials as kickbacks or bribes as part of their strategy to destroy potential competition in India? Why is there no system to check the corrupt officials accepting bribes to abuse their powers to harass harmless citizens, misuse their name, and steal their money?
