On Thursday, February 16 at 7:00pm, William O. Schaefer Elementary School will host an Incoming Kindergarten Information Night for parents with children who will be five years old on or before December 1, 2017.
Registration
Online kindergarten registration for the 2017-18 school year will begin on or about Friday, February 17. Registration assistance will be offered on two dates:
Tuesday, March 14, 9:00am-12:00pm at William O. Schaefer Elementary School (Room 74 – Technology Lab)
Wednesday, March 15, 6:00-8:00pm at South Orangetown MIddle School (Library)
Screening
Kindergarten screenings will be held Tuesday, May 9 through Friday, May 12. Parents may sign up for a specific screening date and time once their kindergartners-to-be have been registered.
