Dr. Mamaly Reshad, an internationally known prosthodontist from the Anacapa Dental Art Institute in Ventura County, Calif., recently was invited to speak to the Canadian Academy of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics (CARDP) annual Scientific Meeting.
Dr. Reshad will present Resection Versus Augmentation: Esthetic Implant Supported Maxillary Prostheses at the organizations Scientific Meeting in September in Montreal.
Dr. Reshad said he will be teaching participants about full mouth implant reconstructions and using a holistic approach to dental care.

Dr. Reshad and Dr. Saj Jivraj, who founded the Anacapa Dental Art Institute, are national and international speakers on dental implants. Their expertise on procedures such as All on 4 dental implants and Teeth in a Day puts them in high demand.

Dr. Jivraj returned last month from a trip to India, where he spoke about full mouth restoration. It was the third time he has presented in India in recent months, and he was one of the main speakers at the Indian Society of Oral Implantologists conference in Mumbai.
Dr. Jivraj spoke during the 29th annual meeting of the Academy of Osseointegration.
Dr. Jivraj and Dr. Reshad gave a two-day training last month on Teeth in a Day in Yorba Linda, Calif, at Nobel Biocares facility.
Dr. Reshad also recently gave a one and a half day course on full-mouth implant reconstructions in the Southern California area.
Internationally, Dr. Reshad has spoken to both the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentists in London and the French Dental Association in Paris since November.
Dr. Jivraj and Dr. Reshad are trained in advanced techniques in aesthetics and implant and cosmetic dentistry. They are former chairmen of the University of Southern Californias School of Dentistrys Fixed Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry section.
Dr. Reshad, who also has a practice in London, England, has written for numerous peer-reviewed journals and textbooks on various topics related to prosthodontics and aesthetics, and implant dentistry. He is on the editorial board of the highly prestigious Journal of Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry; is an honorary clinical teacher at the Eastman Dental Institute; and is on the faculty of the Global Institute for Dental Education.
Dr. Jivraj co-wrote the textbook Treatment Planning in Implant Dentistry, which is used worldwide. He is on the editorial board of the Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry; is associate clinical editor for Dental Teamwork magazine; and is an ad hoc reviewer for the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.
Dr. Jivraj is on the faculty at the USC School of Dentistry as an associate clinical professor; is a clinical teacher at the Eastman Dental Institute in London; and is on the board of directors for the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry.
