The show takes you behind the scenes for their group meetings, and it also focuses on the Cowboys personal lives as they try to balance relationships, friends, and family with the demands of their female clientele.

When I started the agency, Cowboys4Angels, I had no clue of the amount of success it would have. After extensive research I found there was no agency in the United States that offered male companionship strictly for women. I found that women were very turned off by this, and then it dawned on me why the businesses of male escorts for women in America had failed so miserably… I can’t imagine any woman wanting to hire a man who had just been out with another man! I think women felt as if the men were firstly into men and were faking the experience they were sharing with women. That’s why Cowboys4Angels is an agency offering male companions for women, and women alone.
The inception of Cowboys4Angels began approximately six years ago when my girlfriend at that time was the owner of one of the largest female-for-men escort services. She shared her knowledge and experience with me, and I then helped manage her business. This led me to create a service exclusively for women.

You’re currently in season 6 of your Showtime docu-series Gigolos, how much has changed for your guys professionally since season 1?
The agency Cowboys4Angels is featured on Showtime’s hit series, “Gigolos,” which is airing its sixth season. It started out as an idea and it has blossomed into one of Showtime’s most watched shows. I get recognized by women all over the country who love the show, I’ve even had a group of 10 firefighters who were in New York City for a seminar come up to me at the airport in New York, and tell me they watch at the station every week! They said they are watching the show looking for tips to improve their romancing skills.
The show has definitely created an acceptance for male escorts, and has increased our business to spread all over the United States, not just Las Vegas alone.
Your gigolos are straight men who are paid to spend time with women. In your experience, what are the ladies looking for in a session?
I would think most people on the outside would automatically think sex. The funny thing is that any woman can walk into a bar and say, “who wants to have sex tonight”, and she would have a line of men willing. To be very honest and give the simplest answer, I would say that the women who use our service are just looking for someone to make them feel beautiful and special.
There are so many women out there that are beautiful in their own way and do not have someone around to show them those qualities. They go out on bad date after bad date and do not get the attention they want and deserve. Our men’s number one goal is to make a client smile and feel special for the evening, and that goes way beyond anything else.
What are some reasons women hire a gigolo?
Now obviously some of our clients just are adventuresses and love the idea of being in the power role by hiring someone. Others are traveling to a new city and hire someone to show them around for a fun evening. You have the powerhouse CEO’s and executives that are too focused on their career to have the time to date, so they love the idea of a background checked man who has gotten amazing reviews and has been with the agency for years. What are some typical gigolo rates? What would you charge extra for?
The men have a flat rate for service; we do not have any extra fees. The only extras would be for activities the client would want to do with the escorts. Some dates get exotic and would have travel involved, or it can be something as simple as meeting at a hotel or residence. Most of the men have different rates. The rates start at $550 for two hours, and go up from there based on time. You can find each man’s rates on their individual profiles. What makes a good gigolo? How can guys reading become one?
We do have a very strict hiring process and it all starts with the employment page on the website. We get about 10 new requests a day now, and the first thing we look at are the photos. To work in this industry you must have professional photos. If those are not submitted, we look no further.
We look for college-educated men, as well. Once they pass that, we will then make a short phone call to hear how well the man can hold a conversation. If they pass that, we do a video interview to see his mannerisms. If he passes that, we then move on to the background check and the face-to-face final interview.
We then have clients who are regulars who will do a ‘meet and greet’ with the new perspective cowboy. Once he passes all that, he will then go up onto the website. From there we constantly keep tabs after every appointment to make sure the man is getting consistently good reviews. We have had over 15,000 employment requests and only represent 90 men currently, so we are extremely selective of whom we will represent.
I could write an entire book on how to be a good gigolo, but a short answer is to leave your ego at the door. Strong ego means you are important, and it’s all about you. On a paid date it is never about you, and always about making a client happy.
What happens if your client isn’t very attractive? How do you get turned on?
Tyra Banks asked me this same question and she added, “Do you need to take the little blue pill”. My answer was there is nothing more attractive than a driven successful woman. Again we are there to make clients feel special, and for the type of men we hire, this is a turn on for them.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever been paid to do as a gigolo?
I would say the craziest thing was when a husband hired me to hit on his wife. He called and said his wife was in a rut. That she had kids and had gained a little weight and was feeling older and depressed. He set it up to where he would go to the bathroom, and I was to then walk up and offer to buy her a drink. The ironic thing is that I would have done the same even if I were not hired, as she was very attractive.
It was such a great experience because he came back and I was apologizing that she was married and told him how lucky he was. I was there for some time and asked his permission for one dance with her, and he agreed. He called a few weeks later and said it changed her whole attitude, and she was back in the gym and feeling sexy again.
Do you have a pre-date routine? What is it? (Mani/pedi? Workout? Shave body, etc?)
A male escort needs to keep in top physical shape. When a client enters a room, she would prefer heads to turn so he needs to have the newest fashions, and fit into that clothing perfectly. He needs to have proper grooming as well, and women seem to prefer that metro look, so a body shave is in order!
How many dates does the average gigolo go on in a week?
Male escorts tend to see fewer clients per week, but at longer time periods. Women tend to book on average, a four-hour to overnight appointment. So an overnight is like 12 one-hour appointments for, let us say, a female escort. We have also booked many men on weeklong trips, so for him it was only one date that week.
Where does a typical date take place?
Most dates take place in a hotel as the clients are traveling. They would meet at the lobby bar and go from there to dinner or any event, and then head back to the hotel for the evening.
How do you balance your professional and personal lives?
The job of a male escort is on the go. You never know when the next call is coming and to what city or country you need to fly to. It’s hard to even have a pet let alone a girlfriend. For a serious male escort his focus is his clients. Many men will send me block off dates for personal family and friends time, but even then if a big trip is requested those plans may end up being canceled. It is extremely hard to have a personal life as a busy successful male companion.
