Apps can only get smarter. Now imaging an app that can match music to your workout for you.

"FIT Radio is a music app that's specifically tailored for people who want to move their bodies," said Russell Greene, founder and CEO. "It's different from other audio apps because tracks are mixed by professional DJs and, no matter the genre, provide high beats per minute to help motivate anyone needing to get pumped up or over the hump of fatigue."

Recently, FIT Radio has passed over 100,000 users, received its 200,000 download, overhauled its iOS and Android apps and launched a new website. Developed by custom mobile app developer Metova, Inc., the recently updated FIT Radio apps run more efficiently--the apps, which used to take 30 to 90 seconds to load, now only take three seconds. The update also streamlines user signups and includes a new Facebook integration.

The interesting thing about FIT Radio is that you can choose to be the "press play and go" user or the "music enthusiast user," which means you can use the app in an easy way or a more specific way. For the former, just pick a genre, press play and go. FIT Radio will make each genre/station hold around ten to 15 40-minute Mixes at a time. These Mixes randomize, giving you a new mix every time you press play. Moreover, if you like a particular mix, you can "favor" it by clicking the "heart" sign. Like many other player applications, you can also skip, see tracklist and recurrent Mixes.

As an "enthusiast user," you can explore the DJ databases. You can search for/scan through DJs by name or by genre. Once you click on a DJ, it will bring up their bio, social media links, photos and an entire library of their Mixes. You can "like" them and filter their music out.

For the online version, FIT Radio provides search engine for users to find any song or artist and it will pull out every Mix in the FIT Radio library that has the track or artist. Users can also "share a Mix" with friends through Facebook and Twitter Share buttons at the bottom right of the website.

"FIT Radio's mission is to increase motivation, stimulate endorphins, and amp workouts of its listeners by providing high-energy music of all genres that never ceases, even for ads," according to the website. With the convenient and playful features, FIT Radio provides a unique experience to make your workout more interesting and effective.
