By Ritu Sharma, Executive Director, Social Media for Nonprofits

Facebook now boasts over 901 million active users, making it the world’s third largest country. But how exactly can nonprofits use it and other platforms to raise money, grow their base of supporters, change policy, and recruit volunteers and board members? After answering this question at eight of nine sold out conferences and earning a 92% approval rating from over 2,500 nonprofit leaders in our first conference series, we realized that there are a lot more community leaders out there still wrestling with this question, and we’re here to help.

To meet this huge need, we’re doubling our audience and impact, with plans to tour 12 cities across three countries in our second series (see below for dates or visit http://SM4NP.org), enabling us to reach over 5,000 nonprofits in person. We’ll continue to maintain our strong focus on sharing practical, actionable insights, vs. vague concepts and theory, and on keeping the conferences accessible- tickets are just $95 – $175 (save $20 with the “SM4NP” discount code) and include access to the full-day programs, plus breakfast and lunch.
