Former U.S. Men’s National Team coach Bob Bradley is working wonders in his current position as the head coach of the Egyptian national team, guiding the Pharaohs towards a spot in World Cup 2014 despite chaos, tragedy and political violence unfolding around him and his players.

His bravery and dedication have drawn praise from across the United States and the wider world, and now Bradley will have the chance to share some of his story with wisecracking pundit Jon Stewart on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show.”

Bradley, who also coached with distinction in Major League Soccer with Chivas USA, the New York/New Jersey MetroStars, the Chicago Fire and D.C. United, will appear on the Thursday (July 25) edition of the show, which airs on Comedy Central at 11 p.m. ET.

Bradley is also known — and appreciated — for his role in developing one of the USMNT’s top players in the modern era, his son Michael, a standout midfielder with Italy’s AS Roma.

Stewart himself was a soccer player in his younger days, playing on the varsity squad at William & Mary — albeit under his given name, Jonathan Leibowitz — in the early 1980s.

It’s Bradley’s second appearance on the show, as he and USMNT icon Landon Donovan were invited on to discuss the USA’s stirring World Cup run in South Africa three years ago. Here’s the clip of that visit:
