Competition: Premier League
Market: Crystal Palace to get relegated
Odds: 11/4 @ William Hill

Crystal Palace suffered a 3-0 defeat away to London rivals West Ham United in the Premier League, and find themselves only above the relegation zone on goal difference after a miserable start to life under new manager Sam Allardyce. The Eagles have managed just one point from 12 under the 62-year-old and are in danger of the drop as a result.

Palace are currently 17th in the Premier League with 16 points from 21 games, having lost three on the bounce and five of their previous six. The Eagles have managed just one win in the league since September, and Allardyce believes the players are failing and need to stick together to improve their fortunes.

Hull City, Sunderland and Swansea City are the three sides below Palace in the Premier League table, separated by just one point, so another slip in the next gameweek could see the Londoners in the drop zone. Since October, Palace have picked up the fewest points (5) and have suffered the most defeats (11), and they have the second-fewest points earned from bottom-half clubs.

Allardyce is regarded as an expert of keeping sides in the top-flight, but as a result of Palace’s woeful form in the last few months, William Hill are giving odds of 11/4 for the Eagles to suffer relegation from the Premier League.
