Hello guys and gals, today is the day I will be posting my beloved 05 STI up for sale. I bought this car back in January 2011 with 90k miles. Through out my ownership it was properly maintained, it was side swiped on the driver side, it cracked a radiator 2x, it put huge smiles on my face, it had several looks, it gripped the road like a mad canyon carver, and most importantly it treated me right. I honestly love this car more than most things I own in my life but I have 2 vehicles and my other Subaru makes me just as happy. :D The car has been paid off and will help me more with my finances than it will with being a weekend car. SO, that's why it's up for sale!
Here are some specs of the car:
-2005 Subaru WRX STI
-Crystal Grey Metallic (CGM)
-Clean Title
-104,xxx original miles
-95% STOCK (trying to get it as close to factory as possible)
Mods:
-Megan Racing coilovers (about 1k miles on them)
-Grimmspeed Crank Pulley (done with 100k service)
-APS fully recirculated BOV (OEM function)
-Kartboy F+R endlinks
-Tanabe rear sway bar
-HKS catback (perfect rumble)
-HKS rep diffuser
-SPT intake (pretty much OEM)
Overall Ratings:
-Mechanically 10/10
(Could use some gear oil and a quart of transmission fluid to be on the safer side.)
-Exterior 8.25/10
(It is an almost 10 year old car. Was painted on driver side after being side swiped and is a overall great job. Other side has scratches and dings, a few minor debris scratches around the body, diffuser looks good but fins are getting a bit of surface rust. Parts of where the side swipe occured were replaced and painted OEM CGM.)
-Interior 8/10
(Again, the interior is 10 years old but is overall in great shape. I plastidipped the center console black, stock unit, it will receive an interior detail so the rating might go up.)
CURRENTLY NEEDS:
-Rear fender garnishes to be installed since the rear quarter were pulled to fit 17x9.5 RPF1's with 255'S.
-Smog (I will take care of that prior to sell unless you want to do it and I can negotiate price.)
-Pay for registration.
-Will get detail for interior and engine bay on 1/29
