Thank you lokai for sponsoring this review

With a slogan, “We provide the elements, you provide the story.” I was very excited when I received an opportunity  to work with lokai, this is an awesome company with a unique product. Here is the story of lokai from the company website:

Have you ever experienced a moment that shakes you to your core? We all enter moments when we’re suddenly very aware that our lives can take a turn in an instant. That right behind challenges lie times of great happiness – and vice versa. For Steven Izen, that moment was during his freshman year at Cornell University. His grandfather, “Papa,” was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. It was the first time he felt helpless, knowing he would have to sit back and watch his Papa’s mental faculties and body slowly deteriorate. Days after he received the heartbreaking news, Steven found himself on the beach with his family and friends. He wondered – how could some parts of his life feel so aligned, while others were so broken? It was this realization that was the driving force behind lokai, a bracelet that encourages one to be humble through the highs and hopeful through the lows. Drawn to the earth itself and its natural sensibility of highs and lows, Steven set out to give this sense of balance a physical form. Nearly three years later, after countless hours of research and development, lokai was born. The bracelet is infused with elements sourced from the highest and lowest points on Earth.

This is a beautiful product. When it arrived I was in awww of the amazing elements that were captured in this product,

The company provides a meaning for each ball (provided at the end of this review), however here is how I see it! The white ball on the bracelet carries water from Mt. Everest. This is the highest point on earth. Offering some amazing strength when you need it. I find myself in aww of that and when I am down, I have been glancing at it and it helps to bring me up. Another amazing element captured in this bracelet is the black ball which is used to hold mud from the Dead Sea… WOW this is the lowest point on earth. Yet another amazing element to look at when you need to be lifted up!  They made a strong point when they put these ball on opposite ends of each other on this bracelet. Showing the significant difference/distance between the two. To try the balls together they used a string of clear beads. The presentation offers a WOW.

In addition to looking beautiful the story that you can share about the balls really catches peoples interest and keeps them listening. Just remember no matter how low things get, you always have something “high” to lift you up. This is a beautiful piece that can have a different meaning to anyone!

Now, here is the meaning from the companies website,

The Black Bead – Stay Hopeful

Sitting directly opposite its white counterpart, the black bead holds mud from the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, signifying the difficult moments you experience throughout life.

Even through life’s lowest moments, stay hopeful.

The Clear Beads – Keep Moving

The clear silicone beads represent that everyone has their own story. While life has its highs and lows, every point in-between is just as meaningful – these points make up the fabric of your own story. The clear beads remind us that clarity is key in times of joy and sadness.

The White Bead – Stay Humble

Carrying water from Mount Everest, the highest point on Earth, the white bead represents life’s highest moments. Sourced by Sherpas who are native to the landmark, the water is infused into the silicone mixture and then injected into the silicone ball itself. This ensures water is always in the bead, as the material is porous and would otherwise evaporate.

No matter how you see it this is an amazing piece and would make a great gift for someone that is hard to buy for, and with a price tag of $18.00 its a very affordable piece. In addition to being affordable they even give 10% back. Click HERE to check out the bracelet and order one for yourself!  Be inspired!
