Well, I did not see this coming.  Chrishell Stause who plays Jordan Ridgeway ,  announced she is leaving the show. “Sadly I have wrapped up my time over at @nbcdays. It’s been an amazing journey & the best is yet to come for Jordan. I taped scenes in Nov I’m really proud of and I will air into March. I’ve made great friends and memories in my time there. I would like to thank NBC/Corday for the opportunity. I love my daytime family & am looking forward to what the future has in store :)” she tweeted in announcing the news. Days of Our LIves has not made an official announcement , but thanks to social media we know the truth.

We just fond out that Jordan killed her mother and she certainly has a lot more story to tell.   Some fans criticize her for squinting too much, but over all she seems likable.  Poor Rafe can never seems to find a long term romance and he was genuinely in love with Jordan when he made a huge mistake and slept with Kate.  Now she seems to be romantically connected to Chad which seemed odd at first, but now seems feasible.

Jordan has been a key player since she came to town.   She also brought us Ben, the hunky brother and Clyde, the super bad dude!  The one bad thing about knowing she is leaving, is it sort of takes the wind out of her story.   Don’t you think it takes the edge out of suspense when you know a character is leaving?  I feel like we knew so long in advance that EJ and Sami were leaving that made a difference on my viewing experience.   What do you think?

Chrishell may have more time on her hands, but her boyfriend Justin Hartley is gearing up to be very busy.  Justin will be the new Adam Newman on Young and the Restless.  Hartley is taking over the iconic role after a controversial firing of Michael Muhney . The new head writer at Y&R was the writer on All My Children when Stause played Amanda on that soap.  Chrishell is also close friends with Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea) who she also worked with on All My Children.  Perhaps she will end up in Genoa City!  Hopefully, Clyde won’t find her there.
