Three log lodges are nestled in an enchanting old growth forest, perched above a picturesque mountain lake and surrounded by the Rocky Mountains. An array of standard and deluxe rooms are offered, some featuring patios with stunning vistas, king size beds and soaker tubs. You deserve to experience this unique setting.
During summer operations from mid June to late-September, visitors can drive up to Island Lake Lodge on the beautiful private road through 100-year-old giant cedars for lunch or dinner on the spectacular patio. Experience the Mountain Escape spa, canoe or kayak on the tranquil lake or hike into the high alpine with a guide or solo. Come for a day visit or stay the night! A perfect place for weddings, gatherings and retreats, Island Lake is an intimate setting with privacy, comfort and the best in service and style.
At certain times during the summer, lodge facilities may be unavailable or restricted due to private functions and events. Please visit the online calendar to determine services available on the date you plan to visit. Hiking trails are always open.
Bed & Breakfast is available from just $159 for two people.
Rooms are furnished with relaxation in mind- pillowy soft beds, gentle accents, warm wooden walls and no TVs or phones. Wifi is provided throughout the lodge.
Island Lake Lodge has an award winning green philosophy, and is proud to be a steward of the environment.
Island Lake Lodge is easily accessible in summer via Mt Fernie Provincial Park Road. Look for the large wooden Island Lake Lodge sign on Hwy #3, halfway between the City of Fernie and the Fernie Alpine Resort turn-off, across from the Fernie Stanford Resort.
