BURLINGTON, VT (September 18, 2014) Leaves are falling, first snowfalls are happening and Burton’s best-in-class 2015 winter collection has landed in stores around the world. Blending next-level innovation, functionality and style, Burton’s new 2015 winter line of hardgoods, outerwear, apparel and accessories is the best yet, and has you covered for all your winter and riding needs.

First up, let’s dig into a few of the stand-out products from the new 2015 winter line. At the heart of every Burton winter collection are the new snowboards, boots and bindings. For this season, take a close look at the men’s Custom Twin, winner of a coveted Transworld Snowboarding Good Wood Award, the men’s Easy Livin, a collaboration project with guitar icon Martin & Co. and Danny Davis, and the women’s Talent Scout, a Snowboard Magazine Platinum Pick. Also big news on the boards’ front is that all Family Tree models have FSC™ (Forest Stewardship Council) certified wood cores and Mountain Dew® recycled PET top sheets. For the world’s best snowboarding boots featuring Total Warmth construction, check out the men’s SLX and the exclusive, women’s-specific True Fit™ designed Burton x Frye® snowboarding boot that is modeled after The Frye Company’s popular Harness boot. This season, Burton bindings offer the flex and feel that no other company can claim, so be sure to check out the men’s Malavita EST and women’s Lexa EST, which both feature Burton’s new Double Take buckles that allow riders to strap in faster.

On the outerwear side of things, Burton’s got you covered with premium designs, fabrications and technology to keep you warm and dry and looking good during the coldest months of the year. For guys and snowboarders who demand the best technical outerwear, check out the new men’s [ak] 2L Swash Jacket and [ak] 3L Freebird Bib Pant – both featuring industry-leading Gore-Tex® fabric. Other standouts include the Dunmore Jacket, an authentic, insulated workwear jacket backed by heavy-duty weather defense and the men’s Parker Jacket, which does double winter duty with a reversible style that features a canvas camo print on one side and a classic true black colorway on the other. For women, the Prowess Jacket is a toasty team favorite for riding and is offered in a creative range of fabrics, including the tie-dye inspired ‘Coraline Nimbus’ print and the unique ‘Floral Camo’. Another stand-out choice for cold days on the hill or in the city is the women’s Regent Jacket, which features a fashion-forward wool blend body and faux leather sleeves. And just for kids, Burton has partnered with ©Disney/Pixar on a fresh collection of youth outerwear, featuring characters from movie favorites like The Incredibles, Finding Nemo and Monsters, Inc.
