Summit Will Offer Raffles, DJ and Live Music, Veteran’s Day Military Specials & More
(Big Bear Lake, CA – November 7, 2013) – With winter just around the corner, November 9 and 10 mark the final days for sightseeing and mountain biking at Snow Summit. On Sunday, guests can head to Snow Summit for an end of season celebration from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Visitors can enjoy a DJ and live music, $2 draft beers, and a raffle with dozens of prizes from sponsors like Troy Lee Designs, Fox, Bell, Giro and Dakine. Guests can also stock up on winter gear and enjoy big savings at the Sport Shop.
“The closing day celebration is our way of saying goodbye to another wonderful summer at Snow Summit, and saying hello to the winter season,” said Chris Riddle, Vice President of Marketing for Big Bear Mountain Resorts.
Snow Summit will also be offering a Veteran’s Day special on Sunday. In honor of our veterans, Snow Summit will be offering a FREE ticket good for a Scenic Sky Chair ride or an all-day Bike Park pass for all active duty military and veterans, with valid military identification. As always, active and retired military personnel will receive a 15% discount on all regularly priced items in the Sport Shop.

We encourage them to come enjoy a relaxing day at Snow Summit, including a complimentary ride on the Sky Chair or a day at the Bike Park,” said Riddle. “We also invite them to attend one of our many Uniform Days, which will be offered throughout the winter season at both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain.”
Hours for the weekend are 9a.m. to 4p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Both Chairs 1 and 2 will be open, in addition to the View Haus and the BBQ in the Base Area.
