I am different than the everyday Loan Officer. I believe it is not my job to sell you a loan, but rather to educate you about the process so that you are able to make the best decision for your situation.
I spent the early part of my career teaching, everything from ski instruction for college students to behavior therapy with children on the Autism spectrum. After graduating from the University of Utah with a BS in Psychology and a Minor in Health Education, I spent four years teaching public school at the Junior High and High School levels (Science, Health and Psychology).
This educational experience has taught me the importance of knowledge and that knowledge truly is power. Buying a home can be one of the most stressful experiences in a person’s life. I am here to help alleviate some of that stress. If you do not feel that you are understanding the process, then I am not doing my job.
My personal life if spent with my husband of 18 years and our three children. I enjoy golfing, skiing, running and yoga. Philanthropy is also a big part of my life. Having donated a kidney to a friend a few years ago I volunteer with donor services to promote kidney donation. I am featured in a film, “Social Media Stole My Kidney” (Comedian, Amy Donohue’s humor cross-country road-trip interviewing kidney donors.) I am also actively involved in the PTA and Junior League of Salt Lake City and have/had positions on their executive boards.
