This fall, we’ve partnered with JUSTIN Vineyards and Winery to offer the 2013 ISOSCELES, the perfect wine pairing for our Iowa family-farmed, USDA Prime dry-aged steaks.
JUSTIN Vineyards and Winery was named the 2015 “American Winery of the Year” by Wine Enthusiast Magazine. Set in Paso Robles, the JUSTIN vineyards enjoy a micro-climate that offers the the widest day-night temperature swings of any grape-growing region in California. The hot days allow the grapes to develop intense flavor, while the cool nights create great structure and balance, and the soil types are similar to that of Bordeaux, France – allowing the right elements to develop the winery’s award winning Bordeaux-style blends. The acclaimed winemakers of JUSTIN have a wine philosophy of combining traditional Old World methods such as hand-harvesting and small-barrel aging in French oak, with New World technology. Once grapes are harvested, winemakers gather together to carefully select, age, taste, blend and decide what goes into every bottle.
Featuring JUSTIN 2013 ISOSCELES
On your next visit, pair one of our Prime dry-aged steaks with a glass or bottle of 2013 ISOSCELES, the flagship wine of JUSTIN Vineyards, specially offered at $100 per bottle and $25 per glass for a limited time. ISOSCELES is a dry, full-bodied blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. The wine features aromas of ripe fruit, baking spice, sweet tobacco, leather, cocoa and oak barrel, and a palate entry of rich black cherry and black currant, vanilla, cinnamon and licorice spice. Savory, herbal and mint notes appear, followed by dark chocolate and smoky oak elements on the mid-palate. The finish is long and crisp, with a complex interplay between the savory mid-palate and returning black fruit. The juicy acidity, fruit and tannins stand up beautifully to the char, marbling, and intense flavor of a dry-aged steak.
Join us this fall for our JUSTIN 2013 ISOSCELES feature – a premium wine selection and the perfect steak pairing, offered specially-priced for a limited time.
