Aamir khan , Akshay Kumar , Ajay Devgn , Shah Rukh Khan And Salman Khan.
Note : We are not ranking them , we are discussing about their achivements in alphabetical order.
Aamir Khan
Aamir khan was born on 14 march 1965. Aamir has started his career with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak which was released in 1988. Aamir has also won the filmfare award for the best male debut. Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak was super hit and gave us the new superstar. Aamir khan has also done a minor role in ‘Yaadon Ki Baaraat’ in 1973 and in ‘Madhosh’ in 1974. Then in 1989 aamir’s next film ‘Raakh’ released which was a average fair. Then in 1989 and in 1990 aamir’s 3 movies released – ‘Love Love Love’ , ‘Awwal Number’ and ‘Tum Mere Ho’ and these movies did not perform well
at boxoffice.
Aamir khan’s debut movie was big hit but then his movies did no perform well at boxoffice and declared average fairs and flops. But Then ‘Dil’ released in 1990 which was big hit and add another superhit venture in aamir khan’s career. Then Aamir’s few movie like ‘Deewana Mujh sa nahin’ , Jawaani Zindabad, and ‘Tum mere ho’ did not perform well at boxoffice.
Then in 1991 Bounce back with ‘Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahin’ which was Superhit. Then few more movies released and were average fairs but then the movie released which was a big turning point for aamir khan’s career and that movie was ‘ Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander’ in 1992 and was declared blockbuster. Now aamir khan’s stardom is increasing movie by movie. After ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander’ he gave some movie declared average at boxoffice but from 1995 to 1998 he gace many successful films like – Rangeela , Ghulam , Ishq , Raja Hindustani , Earth , Sarfarosh.
After this successfull patch aamir khan has becomes one of the most successful star of his generation. But in 1999 and 2000 ‘Mann’ and ‘Mela’ released wich was did performed well at the boxoffice. Then in 2001 one of the biggest successful film of aamir khan released – Lagaan. Lagaan was a blockbuster movie. And one the biggest hit of 2001. After ‘Lagaan’ aamir’s stardom reaches at another level. After ‘Lagaan’ aamir give another hit movie ‘ Dil Chahta Hai’ in 2001. Initially everyone think that this film will not work after the release evrayone got their answers.
After 2001 aamir’s next movie ‘Mangal Pnadey released in 2005. It was long break of 4 years. Aamir khan fans are waiting for his movies to release for 4 years. Mangal Pandey released in 2005 and gor bombed at the boxoffice. It was a shock because aamir khan did lot of hardwork this movie. Aamir khan bounce back strongly with ‘Rang De Basanti’ in 2006 which was blockbuster. Then in 2006 he gives another superhit movie ‘Fanna’. In 2007 he directs the movie called ‘Taare Zameen Par’ which was a superhit and changed the thinking of many audiences. In 2008 He gaves another Blockbuster – ‘Ghajni’ which was a 1st movie to enter in 100cr club. In 2009 he comes with ‘3 Idiots’ which was declared ‘all time blockbuster’ and was a 1st movie to cross 200cr. Then in 2012 his Next movie ‘Talaash’ released which was a hit at boxffice. In 2013 he gives another ‘All time Blockbuster’ ‘Dhoom 3′ in which he is palying a negative role. ‘Dhoom 3′ also enters in 200cr club. And in 2014 Aamir khan started another club called – 300cr club with ‘PK’. PK crosses 300cr in india only and it was declared all time blockbuster.Since 2006 to 2015 almost 10 years aamir khan is giving back to back successful movies at the boxoffice.
And now aamir khan is coming with his next movie ‘Dangal’ which might get released in 2016. Thatswhy he is said – Mr Perfetionist of the boxoffice.
Ajay Devgn
Ajay devgn was born in 2nd april 1969. He started his career with ‘Phool Aur Kaante’ in 1991 was a big hit and ajay got the filmfare best male debut award.Then his another movie ‘Jigar’ released in 1992 was also a hit. But after 2 successful films ajay’s next releases like – Shaktiman , Bedardi, Dil hai betaab, Ek Hi Raasta and Platform did not perform well at the boxoffice.
But in 1994 ajay bounce back with ‘Hit’ venture ‘Dilwale’. And in 1994 ‘Suhaag’ and ‘Vijaypath’ also released which was a hit. So ajay was back on his successful track. But then his few releases like – Gundaraj , Sangram and Jung declared flop at boxoffice. Then from 1996 to 1999 ajay gives many succesful films like – Diljale , Ishq , Major Saab , Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha. In 1999 Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam was also released which was a very big hit and ajay’s role was very much apprecaited. Then ajay continued to give some successful and average movies at the boxoffice. In 2002 Ajay’s ‘Company’ released was a big hit and ajay won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor. Then Legend Of Bhagat Singh was also released and also done good business at boxoffice. From 2002 to 2004 ajay gives many successful film like – Deewangee , Bhoot , Qayamat , Gangajal , Masti , Khakee. But In 2005 ajay devgn 3 movies were declared flop at the boxoffice
and that movie are – Blackmail , Tango Charlie and Insan. then in 2005 ‘KAAL’ also released whch was a average fair. Apaharan released it was also average fair at the boxoffice. Then ‘Shikhar’ released which was declared flop. In 2004 to 2005 ajay was going through rough patch but he bounces back strongly in 2006 with – Golmaal which was declared hit at the boxoffice. In 2006 ajay also gives another hit film ‘Omkaara’.
From 2007 to 2008 ajay gives some successful films and some flop films like – Cash and Aag. Ajay gives one of the biggest hit of 2008 Golmaal returns which was declared super hit at the boxoffice. In 2009 ‘All The Best’ was also a hit. In 2010 ‘Raajneeti’ was a blockbuster. Now ajay is back on track giving one successful movie every year.In 2010 ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’ was also released and declared blockbuster. Then in 2011 ‘Singham released which was a blockbuster. In 2012 Bol Bachchan released which was a super hit. In 2012 Son of sardaar also released which was a super hit. In 2013 ‘Himmatwala’ which was declared flop at boxoffice. Then in 2014 comes back with – Singham Returns which was also a big hit. In 2014 ajay’s 2nd release -Action Jackson was also released but did not performed well at the boxoffice.
But we are sure ajay’s next releases Like – Drishyam remake and Baadshaho will be successful at the boxoffice. Ajay is also directing a movie – Shivaay which might be released in 2016.
Akshay Kumar
Akshay kumar was born on 9th september 1967. His orignal name is Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia. Akshay kumar started his career with ‘Saugandh’ in 1991. But very less people know that before ‘Saugandh’
akshay has made a 7-second appearance in Mahesh Bhatt – ‘Aaj’ in 1987. Akshay kumar 1st successful was ‘Khiladi’ which was released in 1992 and this film give the tag of ‘Khiladi’ to akshay kumar. In 1993 akshay’s ‘Waqt Hamara Hai’ released which was also a average fair at the boxoffice. In 1993 and 1994 akshay’ 2 movies – ‘Sainik’ and ‘Elaan’ released both of them are flop. AT that time akshay was struggling to make his name at the bollywood. Then in 1994 akshay’s ‘Yeh Dillagi’ was released and was declared super hit at the boxoffice. In 1994 akshay’s 2 more movies were released and both of were super hits. And that movie are – ‘Mohra’ and ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’. ‘Suhaag’ and ‘Zakhmi dil’ was also releaed in 1994 and was declared average . But the other releases like – Ikke Pe Ikka , Amaanat , Nazar Ke Samne , Paandav were declared flop at the boxoffice.
Then in 1996 and 1997 – ‘Sabse Bada Khiladi’ was a super hit , ‘Tu Chor Main Sipahi’ was a hit and ‘Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi’ was a super hit. By this films akshay has proved that he is here stay and has a potential to become bigger star in future.
From 1997 to 1999 akshay gives some successful films as well some flop film like – Insaaf: The Final Justice , Daava , Keemat: They Are Back , Angaaray. were flop at boxoffice. And ‘Mr. and Mrs. Khiladi’ , Dil To Pagal Hai , International Khiladi , Sangharsh , were super hits and successful films.
In 2000 akshay kumar gives 2 big hits – ‘Hera Pheri’ in which his comic timing was very much appreciated and ‘Dhadkan’ which was also a hit. Year 200 is proving to good for akshaykumar untill his next release – ‘Khiladi 420′ released. Khiladi 420 did not perform well at the boxoffice.
From 2001 to 2005 akshay kumar gives many successful films like – ‘Ajnabbe’ in which his role was appreciated , ‘Aankhee’ in 2002 , ‘Khakee’ in 2004 ‘Aitraaz’ in 2004 , ‘Waqt’ in 2005 and ‘Garam Masala’ in 2005 which was big hit and give new actors jodi of akshay kumar and john to bollywood. Then in 2005 and in 2006 his several movies did not perform well like – Dosti , Deewane huye Paagal , Mere Jeevan Saathi , Family , Bewafa , and ‘Jaan e mann’ did not perform well at the boxoffice. This time akshay was going to rough patch . Then his movie which were released in 2006 were becomes hits and akshay comes back on track . We are talking about -Phir Hera Pheri and Bhagam bhag.
Then in 2007 akshay has golden year of his life in 2007 akshay has 4 films released and all are successful . In 2007 – Namastey London was released and was hit 2nd releas was – Heyy baby and was a big hit 3rd release was – Bhool Bhulaiyaa and was a super hit and last release was – Welcome which becomes Blockbuster.
After the successfull patch akshay gave 1 flop in 2008 and that is – ‘Tashan’. But the 2nd release of akshay kumar in 2008 was ‘Singh Is Kinng’ which was declared blockbuster at the boxoffice.
But from 2009 to 2011 goes through rough patch the only big hit of akshay kumar in these year was ‘Housefull’ and rest of the films were declared avearges and flops like – Blue , 8×10 Tasveer , Action Replay , Chandni Chowk to China were declared flop and ‘Kambakkht Ishq’, De Dana Dan, ‘Tees Maar Khan’, ‘Khatta Meetha’ ,’Desi Boyz’were declared average at the boxoffice.
In 2012 akshay kumar again bounce back strongly with back to back successes – Housefull 2 was a superhit , ‘Rowdy Rathore’ was a blockbuster. ‘Oh My God’ was a blockbuster and ‘Khiladi 786 was a plus affair. In 2013 akshay kumar ‘Special 26’was a plus affair and other 2 films did not perform well at boxoffice.
In 2014 Akshay kumar came back super hit film – ‘Holiday’ and ‘Entertainment’ was also a plus affair. In 2015 his 1st release ‘Baby’ has gained positive reviews from public and critics and collects 98cr at the boxoffice. akshay has 3 more releases in this year – ‘Gabbar’ , ‘Brothers’, ‘Singh is Bling’ and we hope all the become the big hits for him.
Salman Khan
Salman Khan was born on 27 december 1965. Salman khan is the son of actor and screenwriter Salim Khan. Salman khan has 2 brothers – Arbaaz and Sohail both of them are also actors. Salman Khan began his acting career with Biwi Ho To Aisi but it was his second film Maine Pyar Kiya (1989), in which he acted in a lead role, that garnered him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. In 1990 his next movie Baaghi: A Rebel for Love released which was also a hit. Salman khan gives back to back successful films in 1991 like – Sanam Bewafa , Love , Patthar Ke Phool and Kurbaan. In 1991 ‘Saajan’ was also released which was a big hit. From 1992 to 1993 salman khan’s several movies released which were average fairs and flop at boxoffice. In 1994 ‘Andaaz Apna Apna’ released which was average film at the boxoffice but its get the cult movie status over the years.
In 1995 salman khan’s another blockbuster movie comes and that is – Karan Arjun. Karan Arjun also stars Shah Rukh Khan. From 1996 to 1999 salman gives some successful films as well as some flops. But in 1999 His bounces with 2 big hits and that are – BIWI NO 1 and HumDil De Chuke Sanam. Now salman khan has one of the most powerful actors his generation his stardom is increasing day by day. Then salman gives more successful films like – Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega , Chori Chori Chupke Chupke , Garv, Tere Naam , Baghbaan . These movie were released in 2000 to 2004. Salman khan another big hit released in 2004 and that movie was – Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. In 2005 Salman khan’s next movie ‘No Entry’ released which was also a super hit and one of the biggest hit 2005. But from 2005 to 2007 salman khan several films were declared flop at the boxoffice. But In 2009 Salman’s ‘Wanted’ released and was declared super hit and salman was back on track with ‘Wanted’. Then 2009 and 2010 salman 2 more movies released – ‘London Dreams’ and ‘Veer’. Both of these films did not perform well at the boxoffice.
But from 2010 salman khan career and stardom goes to that level which unachieveable. From 2010 Salman Khan has gave 8 back to back movies which has crossed 100cr club. And that ‘Dabangg’ in 2010 . Ready in 2011 , ‘Bodyguard’ in 2012 , ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ in 2012 , Dabangg 2 in 2012 , ‘Jai Ho’ in 2014 and ‘Kick’ In 2014.
Kick also became the first film of salman khan to cross 200cr in india. Salman khan is Going fabulous track from past 5 years and we hope that his upcoming movies will also be successful movies. Salman khans’s upcoming movie are – Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. If these films cross 100cr. We are sure it will cross 100cr then salman khan will become the only actor to give back back 10 movies that have crossed 100cr in india.
Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh Khan was born on 2nd november 1965. Shah Rukh Khan Started his career with ‘Deewana’ in 1992 and also won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Then his next movie which were released in 1992 were declared average at the boxoffice like – Chamatkar and Raju ban gaya Gentelmen. In 1992 Shah Rukh Khan another movie was released which was – Dil Aashna hai. Dil Aashna Hai was a flop. In 1993 Maya MemSaaab and King Uncle was released. Both Of These did not perform well at boxoffice.
But Shah Rukh Khan’s one of the biggest hit of his career and of 1993 – ‘Baazigar’. ‘Baazigar was declared super hit and shah rukh khan won Filmfare Award for Best Actor. From ‘Baazigar’ the stardom and the success of shah rukh khan has started to increase we can say that this movie was rise of Shah rukh khan. After this in 1993 srk’s next movie – ‘Darr’ released and was a blockbuster. In ‘Darr’ shah rukh khan’s acting was very much appreciated. In 1994 shah rukh khan continues his successful patch with – Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa was also a hit film. In 1994 Shah rukh’s next release ‘Anjaam’ bombed at the boxoffice.
Then 1995 another big hit add to his name and that film was ‘Karan Arjun’. The next 3 releases of 1995 was declared flop at the boxoffice. At that time srk’s career was going with up and downs. Then one movie came that changed evrything for shah rukh khan and that movie is – ‘Dilwale Dulhania Lejayenge’. ‘DDLJ’ was released in 1995 and was declared blockbuster at the boxoffice. It was one of the biggest hit 1995 and shah rukh khan. From 1996 to 1999 Shah rukh khan gives some successful films as well as some flop films.In 2000 shah rukh khan and amitabh bachchan starer ‘Mohabbatein’ released which was a blockbuster. In 2001 – Asoka and One 2 Ka Four released did not fared well at the box office. Then in 2002 ‘Devdas released which was a blockbuster. Then shah rukh khan continues to gave one successful every year like – ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ in 2003 , ‘Main Hoon Naa’ in 2004 , ‘Veer Zaara’ in 2004 , Kabhi Alvida Naa Khena in 2006 , Don in 2006. In 2007 ‘Chak De India’ released and was a blockbuster. Om Shanti Om and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi was also a successful films.
In 2009 ‘Billu’ released which was a flop. But in 2010 shah rukh khan come back with ‘My name is Khan’ which a successful film. In 2011 ‘Ra one’ and ‘Don 2′ released both of them are successful ventures. In 2012 ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ released which was a super hit. In 2013 Shah rukh khan entered the 200cr club with ‘Chennai Express’ and in 2014 ‘Happy New Year’ was also crossed the 200cr collections in india. Shah rukh khan has also delivered 2 movies that has crossed 200cr collection in india only. Thatswhy he is called the – King Of Boolywood.
