1. Sneak peek of Mariel Rodriguez's maternity shoot!
The excited mom-to-be had her maternity shoot yesterday coutesy of Nice Print Photography at the Acuatico Beach Resort in Laiya, San Juan, Batangas. Mariel's glam team included stylist Myrrh Lao To, makeup artist Qua Mark Kingson, and hair stylist Aries Manal. She shared a couple of shots on her Instagram account while her husband Robin posted behind-the-scenes videos on his Facebook page. Mariel is due to leave soon for the U.S. where she will give birth in November.
2. Nadine Samonte and family's official photos
Over the weekend, Nadine Samonte and husband Richard Chua shared on social media photos from their daughter Heather Sloane's newborn photography session, along with their first official family photos. "My life" wrote Nadine as caption to an Instagram post. "Thank you father God for this wonderful gift of life," she wrote as caption for another. The photos were taken by Nice Print Photography.
3. Scarlet Snow's first encounter with pets
Everyone seemed scared and was careful around the baby snake, but not Scarlet. "Can you please please help me convince daddy to let me bring this pet home? I already have a name for him: Noodles," was the caption to this Instagram post. In another Instagram video posted on the toddler's account, it looked like she was conversing with a pet dog. The caption read: "Maybe this one I can bring home. Daddy did not allow me to bring home Needle." So what do you think Scarlet Snow's first pet will be? Not the snake, we think.
5. Divine Lee is engaged!
The TV host and model said yes to Chinese businessman Blake Go when the latter popped the question over a romantic candlelit dinner at the Ayana Resort and Spa in Bali, Indonesia over the weekend. Divine was surprised, she said in a phone interview with Pep.ph. Divine and Blake have known each other since their college days but only got together last year. When asked if marriage after only a year of being in a relationship was too fast, she said, "Bakit pa namin patatagalin, di ba? Tsaka hindi naman na ako 16. Thirty-four na kami pareho. Mag-classmate kami at magka-edad." Divine said that although she wants an intimate beach wedding in Cebu, she's also considering the fact that Blake has a big family. Congratulations! (pep.ph)
5. UV Express vehicles allowed back on EDSA
According to Memorandum Circular 2016-013, the LTFRB amended the previously issued MC 2016-009, which banned UV Express vehicles from plying EDSA except to cross it, in order to decongest the highway. UV Express vehicles coming from the south of the metro bound for Makati can take the Skyway, while those coming from the north of the City (Fairview) and East (Pasig, Marikina, and Rizal) bound for Cubao can take C5 to Aurora Blvd. Vehicles coming from the East bound for Makati can take Kalayaan Ave to Buendia. UV Expresses circling the North area are only allowed on certain parts of EDSA. (spot.ph)
