Continuing with our summer blog series, SmarterChaos is introducing key team players with 10 Things You Should Know.

Here are 10 things you should know about Doug Davis, COO and co-founder of SmarterChaos.

1.  My last vacation is unfortunately a distant memory – but a GREAT memory of diving in Cozumel.

2.  Breakfast for me – fiber cereal.  Yucky, but healthy.  Wishing that the sugar pops of my childhood were considered healthy because they tasted so good!

3.  Always fascinated by technology and working on the tech side of any industry has been the working life for me.  Once the architecture industry dried up in 2008, I worked to hatch the beginning plans of SmarterChaos with other co-founders, Matt Frary and Stu Butler.  Our talks seemed like a great challenge and I am excited to see what we have accomplished so far and have many outstanding plans for the future.

4.   Call it boring, I call it practical.  If I was given a million dollars today I would invest it.

5.   If I had to explain Affiliate Marketing to a group of young kids in three sentences or less – Simple.  You have a lemonade stand. But in order to be able to buy the new bike you want you have to sell more lemonade. You get your friends to set up more stands, but since it’s your idea, you take a percentage of every glass you sell and now you have enough money to buy that bike, maybe two. Any Questions?

6.  Being a business owner, work goes everywhere with me – even in the car.  ZZ Top is one of my favorites to sing out loud to when I am alone.  Cause you know – I Gotsa Get Paid.

7.  If I could speak to one animal, it would have to be my dog.  Logan is the coolest dog and I would love to know what she is thinking.

8.  The future of Affiliate Marketing is ever changing and very promising.  Opportunities are everywhere, so my only way to describe the future is EXPLODING.

9.  My minister from High School served as an amazing mentor to me and to this day has made a large impact on my life.

10.  The best part about working for SmarterChaos…..pretty easy.  Building a business that I am wholeheartedly proud of.  Oh yeah, and that small thing of making money is pretty cool too.
