The Voice 2012′s Tony Vincent isn’t going to sit around and wait for something to happen. The ousted contestant might be the hardest working contestant from this past season.
Ever since he was cut from Team Cee Lo, the artist has been working on marketing himself and that work has paid off. He already has released a single and his solo performance debut has been set. Oh and he’s got an EP set for a July release.
Recording artist Tony Vincent announces his debut New York solo performance at Rockwood Music Hall on Monday, July 23, 2012. Vincent will perform music off of his debut EP that will release this July. He was able to raise 94% of his goal for his EP via a fan-based donation campaign executed through PledgeMusic.com in the first week! Vincent’s fans have spoken and he is answering the call with both a performance and an EP! – A Press Release from Tony’s rep.
“Years ago I moved to New York to continue my path as a artist, singer/songwriter and producer,” Tony said. “After many years of singing other people’s songs, I’m now feeling a freedom that I thought I had lost. I’m releasing a project in July that’s very signature of what I do as an artist- it’s exciting and refreshing to be able to show the fans (that I’ve gained thru NBC’s The Voice and past theatrical endeavors) what I do when I’m in the driver’s seat.”
