Job Title: User Experience Designer

Job Description:

The Schlumberger User Experience evaluates emerging technologies and provides innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions to increase efficiency, reliability and integration of Schlumberger services and operations. The designer will play a key role in the user interface design for our customers’ portfolio of business applications, including strategically define all UX standards for the highest degree of usability, specifically look and feel, navigation, and workflow. Among the responsibilities the designer will continually research, test, and outline updates to our corporate UX standards, working in a semi-autonomous environment where fast prototyping emerging technologies to solve industry-related problems is the rule. The position reports to the software project manager.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with designers, engineers /team members to create and translate interaction designs and wireframes into stunning UI on Web/Mobile/Desktop Application.

- Lead and Create worthy presentations and reviews of visual designs with team members and stakeholders.

- Engage with development to understand platform capabilities, communicate design specifications, support agile development, presents high fidelity designs/mock-ups to the customer for review/iteration/approval

- Effectively communicate designs across teams using engaging presentations, collaboration tools, prototypes, and narrative vision.

- Follow through project from concept development, design and production independently and with tight timeline

- Design Web, Mobile, Apps, desktop Interfaces.

- Prepare wireframe, design and refine user experiences

- Participate in product brainstorms and creative concept development

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in User Experience, Interaction Design, Visual Design or similar.

- Experience creating of complex systems across multiple platforms (e.g. Web/Mobile/Desktop Application)

- Mastery of Photoshop and Illustrator

- Understanding of User Interface Design and the Design Process

- Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and communication skills. Capable of juggling multiple projects and related complexities at the same time.

- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JQuery and Mobile App

- Must be creative

- Detail-minded and good sense in sync with recent design standards and trends.

- Willingness to learn new technologies and design techniques

- Good interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to execute on a timely manner

- Immediate available will be advantage
