Job Description
The Web Developer is a member of a distributed agile software development team, primarilyresponsible for the design of a web interface of a large web-based system. Successful Web Developer is a self-motivated individual with a good combination of technical and personal skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment as a part of a diverse development team. The Web Developer assumes full responsibility for his/her part of the solution including understanding requirements, maintaining product quality, communicating with peers and other stakeholders to ensure the overall success of the team effort. This position reports to the Project Manager.
Responsibilities
Understand system purpose, architecture, requirements and applicable quality standards.
Web solution development using HTML5, CSS, AngularJS
Development of a server-side functionality directly related to the web front-end using REST-ful Web API’s and WebSockets for pub/sub
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar.
Min two years’ experience in the field of web design.
Knowledge of Responsive web design principles.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development.
Experience with Application Lifecycle Management using Microsoft TFS.
Technical experience with key technologies employed in the solution development including HTML5 and CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS (1/2) / React, SignalR, ASP.NET and WebSockets.
Domain knowledge in Oilfield industry is preferred.
Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
