**Cameron’s Surface Systems**
Cameron’s Surface segment designs and manufactures complete wellhead and Christmas tree systems for onshore and offshore topside applications. This segment has an extensive installed base of equipment and is collaborating with customers around the world. Our Surface segment is not only the industry’s largest provider of surface completion and production equipment but also has a large services business in each of its markets. One of the major services provided by the Surface segment is CAMSHALE™ Production Solutions, which specializes in shale gas production.
**Job Summary**
Detail oriented, good follow through, record keeping, and organizational skills
• Proficient in using inspection tools such as portable CMM, comparator, ring/plug gages, calipers, micrometers, height gages, blocks, pins, etc.
• Participate on teams for problems resolution and continuous improvement projects using basic quality tools
• Release parts as specifications are met. Nonconforming parts /products are recorded, quarantined and relayed to the supervisor for review, and monitor defective parts until problem is solved.
• Communicate to the lead person/supervisor up to date information on inspections
• Assist in processing products customer returns, segregating the items according to the need for return
• Inspect and monitor all products being manufactured and audit warehouse shipping and receiving in accordance to in-process procedures and workmanship specifications
• Perform and/or participate in destructive and non-destructive examination
• Perform tasks and special projects as assigned by lead person/supervisor
• Reliable, flexible, good team-player and highly motivated
**Minimum Job Qualifications** High school diploma or GED
• One (1) year plus experience in receiving and final inspections in accordance with drawings, written inspection procedures and specifications in order to maintain the quality and reliability of company products
• One (1) year plus experience in a Quality Control manufacturing or engineering environment with knowledge of applicable ISO and or API requirements
• Ability to perform hands on 3 dimensional visual and mechanical inspection and evaluations of machined parts, and assemblies
• Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal)
• Ability to effectively communicate and present information in a manner that clearly defines the objective, problem, and/or status of a topic to the team, leadership and other key stakeholders
• Ability to use computer system with all associated software, including statistical and email communications applications
• Ability to use mathematical concepts and statistics to solve cross-functional process and/or product related problems
• Ability to identify the root cause and solve practical process and product related problems in a Service/Manufacturing and Engineering environment
• Ability to perform in a dynamic, fast paced and ever changing work environment
• Ability to perform assignments with minimum supervision
**Preferred Qualifications** ASQ CMI, Certificate/Training in Industrial Engineering or Technology education preferred
• Extensive knowledge in geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T)
• CWI, NDE certification/training and work experience desired
• Three (3) plus years direct hands on experience in Quality Control inspections
• Experience in forging, plating, coating, and/or welding and NDE
