Nur Izlyn Bte Zaini (16 years) – 14.66s 1.0m/s during B-Girls 100m 0.762m hurdles final. Erased old U17 mark of 14.78s, Goh Wei Ning, YOG Asian Trials, 23-May-2010.
Joshua Chua Hanwei (14 yrs) – 13.27s 0.6m/s during C-Boys 100m 0.840m hurdles final. Erased old U15 mark of 13.81s previously joint held by Linus Chong Nat Sch 2010 and Ang Ding Hui WALA 2010.
Tia Louise Rozario (14 yrs) – 12.33s 0.9m/s during C-Girls 80m 0.762m hurdles final. Erased old U15 mark of 12.37s 0.8 m/s, Jannah Wong Min, S’pore Jr Athletic C’ship, 13-Mar-2010.

Highlights
In the long jump B-Boys event final, it was a battle between two Singapore Sports School athletes, Gary Wee Wei Zong and Dylan Wong U Fai. The two pushed each other, with tit-for-tat responses in their jumps result. But it was the former who emerged ahead. Gary jumped 6.71 metres, just 9 centimeters shy from breaking the Championship record.
Long Jia Ning, Alicia from Hwa Chong Institution improved upon her last year National School outing, the color of her medal upgraded from silver to gold with a 33.54 metres effort in the A-Girls discus throw event. She came in second position during the 2013 edition of the competition, losing out to VJC’s Fiona Ng, who herself earlier settled for a silver medal this time round.
Lynette Lim Enxuan helped Victoria Junior College to their first gold medal of the National School competition. It came in the long jump A-Girls event where the diminutive jumper leapt 5.32 metres. The 17 year old now focuses next on the triple jump, an event she currently holds the national record.
Tan Xin Ning of Cedar Girls’ Secondary School had a performance breakthrough in this edition of the National Schools. Not only she grabbed gold in the C-Girls shot put event, but she also improved upon her results distance. She could only achieved 9.77 metres at last year Nationals to earn a silver medal. This year however Tan threw a staggering personal best of 11.10 metres.
